If by competitive you mean comical then you are right..come on, face the facts...how many drives were killed because of self inflicted penalties? How did our unspecial teams manage to get Iowa a 17 yard advantage over us? How many bad snaps we had to overcome or not? Your assessment of competitiveness is based on how close the score was...Frankly, that speaks more about Iowa’s inability to capitalize on the plethora of opportunities we gave them. Any other team would have turned those to TD. So, if you think that was a competitive performance then you do not understand football. Also, you seem to really have extreme issues identifying the definition of words...If commenting on the flow of the game is full meltdown then I feel sorry for your fragile little ego...

I do not disagree with at all. However, i wish he would come out and tell us the truth. Instead, his pressers sound like this team is one step away from being competitive. I would completely understand if we showed some signs of improvement but that is not the case. Nick Saban is under pressure, Urban Meyer was under pressure, but they were still scrutinized when their teams lost. He is a good man and a very decent human being but he is also getting a very high salary and not producing results on the field. If you hired a contractor to do some remodeling and they did a horrible job, would you pay them? In three years, tell me one improvement? We still commit the dumbest penalties that either bail teams out or kill our drives, we turnover the ball in almost every game, we play undisciplined football, we do not have many weapons on offense, we have no vertical threat whatsoever, we have no special teams, and we do not seem to take any steps to correct any of this...if it were anyone other than Frost, you would be saying the same thing. However, since it is Frost and since we know he is a decent human being, we are not asking for him to be fired but simply admit that this team is not making any progress so that they can begin to take corrective actions. When the players listen to him in pressers, they feel like the fans are expecting too much and that this team is on the right track. If you think we are on the right track then I have nothing else to add.

In keeping with the theme of this post: Dear Scott Frost, please consider donating your paycheck and that of your coaches to charity. That would be the best use of this money since you have failed to earn it. Once you put a good product on the field, you can start cashing your checks again.

Frost’s pressers are starting to piss me off. He refuses to acknowledge the fact that HIS team is horribly coached. He should stop blaming refs and opposing teams for his failures. He and his staff have been outcoached in every game. Here are some facts: (1) after three years of coaching, our center still can’t snap the ball (2) we have no special teams (3) we continue to commit untimely penalties and fouls at the worst times (4) we have zero depth in many positions (5) smart players are transferring out because they see this sinking ship all this and much more has happened on his watch. So, man up, stop selling us stupid excuses and BS, and stop talking about this team as if they are one or two plays from turning things around. Everyone in the universe can see how many issues we have and Frost and his coaches seem to be living in a dream world where they get paid high salaries to do absolutely nothing. With every presser, I lose more and more respect for Frost. I had high hopes for him but now I see that he is delusional and completely lost.

It reflects on both but it is up to the highly paid incompetent coaches to fix this crap. Unfortunately, these coaches have zero idea on what is needed to turn things around or else we would have seen some improvement somewhere.

Deja Vu, Nebraska finds new stupid ways to lose games...we are the joke of college football. I have never seen a more self destructive team....EVER. This team has no heart or soul...just undisciplined players committing stupid fouls and continue to do so unchecked.

This team is toxic and does not enjoy playing together...they don’t push each other to play hard and they do not hold each other accountable for the mistakes on the field. Any smart player can see that and that is why so many have bolted. It turns out that vedral was the better QB and he left. Spielman left and so many have transferred...fans blame these kids for bolting...I blame the coaches for not giving these players reasons to stay...this situation will not get any better until this team decides that they have had enough of being horrible.

I am sorry but no one can be so bad even if you try your hardest to suck...this team has accomplished the impossible...they have found one million different ways to lose games...frost is an embarrassment and he needs to come out and tell the fans the truth that his team is BAD and stop feeding us BS that this team is close to turning things around. We are no closer to turning this around than we were six years ago. Arguably, Frost is worst than Riley.

Their kicker is lights out good. He scores and the game is out of reach...we had a million chances to win this game and we did everything in our power to lose...this happens every time.…I do not mind losing but losing this way is worst than losing...it is demoralizing

It is official, Frost has no idea what the freak he is doing...he is just experimenting and he is lost...if your team continues to commit untimely penalties for three years now, who does that fall on? The players who are student athletes or the coaches who are stealing Nebraska millions and not fixing anything. If it were anyone else other than Frost, everyone would be calling for their head now.
