NU scored 22 points on Fresno and 28 points on Wyoming in the 4Qs of won games and that's just this season. You all were notorious for it in the past. Everyone runs up scores. Everyone. If you want a mercy rule go play pop warner. That is extremely flawed argument. Those games were not over and were very close until the fourth quarter. In fact, Nebraska had a chance to run the score up and they did not. Did you actually watch those games!?

You do not honor a team by singing GOODBYE when the game was obviously one-sided, especially if you truly wanted to honor a fallen player. Ohio State's fan base is well known for being horrible. It was uncalled for and I am sure the players agree as well. I am not defending our play today. We were definitely not prepared for this game but we also do not deserve Urban Meyer wanting to get votes by ramming points down our throats and having their fan base disrespect us when they clearly won the game at the first 10 seconds of the second half.

The amount of logic this post lacks gives me a headache. So they went for it on 4th down and converted. Maybe our defense should stop them. I do not mind that Ohio State was scoring. That is their right and yes, it is our job to stop them. However, when your fan base is chanting for you to go for it at 4th and 4 when you are already up 52 to 3, that crosses the line into BEING A COMPLETE AND UTTER DOUCHBAG CLASSLESS FAN BASE AND COACHING STAFF. Especially when your dirty player was responsible for knocking the QB and sending him to the hospital. The hit on TA was not necessary given that TA was heading for the side line. Yet, you continue to pound a team when they are down. That is the definition of being classless. We have never done this to an opponent. Our fans are the class of the nation. I am sorry but losing is one thing, but when the opposing fans start singing goodbye after an obviously one-sided match, that becomes CLASSLESS. However, that is why this fan base will get punished when Michigan rolls in there and rips them a new one. Plus, there is a reason why the Cleveland Browns will never succeed. I learned the following: (1) We are definitely not ready for prime time. Not even close (2) Our coaches are not in the same league (or even within two leagues) as those of Ohio State, Michigan, Alabama (3) We still can't win the games that really matter (4) I am glad that we are not going to the Big 10 Championship because it can get REALLY UGLY (5) The Iowa and Minnesota games will be more challenging than I originally thought (6) Next year will be really ugly On a positive note, we still can finish the season 10-2, if we actually practiced like we cared about football. What is sad is that at the beginning of the season, I knew we had very little chance to beat Wisconsin and Ohio State and that we will probably lose both games, and so did everyone else in the nation, and our team did not disappoint. It has been 20 years since we have been relevant. How much longer do we have to wait? No other relevant teams have had the down period of mediocrity that we have endured. Are those Tom Osborne eras gone for good!! After a game like tonight, you definitely wonder if we ever will rise again.

I am willing to bet you good money that Washington would not lose 62-3 to this Ohio state team...let's just leave it at that.

I am at a huge loss...I really thought after last week, we would be competitive. It feels like the team and coaches did nothing to prepare for this and other than sip margaritas and hope for Wisconsin to lose to northwestern. It is like we took 10000 steps backwards. I bet you Pelini is loving this.

In my opinion, the Ohio state fans are classless douchbags just like their a-hole coach. If you are up by 42 points and it is 4th and 4 and you chant for going for six, it shows how sick of a fan base you are. I never saw us do that to any opposing team. However, what goes around comes around. I really hope Michigan obliterates Ohio at their own home.

In my opinion, the team played great but we lost the game for three reasons: (1) Langsdorf made some questionable play calls when we could have easily put the game away at the end of regulation and go out with a field goal. Drew Brown has been on fire but Langsdorf was focused on the big play rather than just get close enough to get the field goal try. (2) We had absolutely no answer to that schmuck Obunbowale. He ran wild on us and every time Wisconsin needed a first down, he got it for them. (3) The refs killed us in OT by not calling an OBVIOUS pass interference on Westy. If they call that, we get four more chances at the end zone. Other than that, I am thrilled that our team is competing. I do not care if we blow teams out of the park as long as we compete and we, ourselves, dont get blown out of the park. I think we can hang with anyone in the top ten, which is something I could not say in the past ten years. Even with the loss, we only dropped to number 9 and 10, which we can easily climb up if we win out. That shows me that the voters saw that Wisconsin was not the better team. They were just lucky and benefited from the NONCALLS of the referees. Even their touchdown was in part by the referee giving Wisconsin a first down when their receiver was clearly out a whole yard short. Instead of fourth down, it was first down and they went on to score their second touchdown. To me, it seemed like BTN and the refs had a lot more to gain by Wisconsin winning and making the west race interesting. I am really upset that the BTN analyst douchbags did not even comment on the obvious pass interference when the commentators clearly indicated that it was a CLEAR NON CALL. This loss hurts for sure but I am very optimistic going to the OSU game, especially after watching NW really dominate them at their own home. GO BIG RED!!

I learned that I HATE WISCONSIN even more than I already thought I hated those a$$hole$. I am tired of losing to them. I also learned that the refs will always give the other big ten teams the benefit of the doubt and not call the penalties as they should. I also learned that the BTN guys are huge douchbags who actually do not like Nebraska as they did not even mention the missed pass interference call. And finally, I learned that we just can't get out of our own way. We had a couple of opportunities to seal the victory and TA did what TA does in big games. Chokes... Other than that. I am very happy with the turn around this season. I was very critical of Mike Riley but I have to admit that he seems like a very nice guy who can actually get these kids to pay and compete. Although this loss was extremely hurtful and I will not get over it for a while, I will take it any time over being blown out of the field like Bo's teams were manhandled. It just seems like every time we play this badger a$$hole$, there is ONE player that takes over and kills us and we just can't find a way to stop them. Today, it was that schmuck Ogunbwale who seemed to run wild with us looking at him. Take him out and we win this game easily.

I pretty much knew that we lost our chance to win the game when we pissed away the opportunity at the end of regulation. The difference between Alabama and us is that if they had a chance to finish the game in regulation they would have done that. We treated that opportunity as if we were stealing the game so we called dubious plays. In OT, THE HOME TEAM HAS THE ADVANTAGE AND THE CHEATING REFS DID THE REST.

The ref that missed that call is a criminal. I hope he loses ten pay checks for that no call

I am proud of our team and how they have been competing to the last second. That is why I am so upset. Because we should have won that game the way we played yet the refs stole it from us. That pass interference they missed was sooooooo crucial. The blimp guy saw it it was that obvious. The ref just wanted Wisconsin to win. I HATE WISCONSIN. I HOPE THEY LOSE ALL THEIR GAMES.
