  1. this is what Wisconsin just did with LSU at Green Bay and Jerry World. ND and Wisconsin are doing the same thing in Green Bay and Chicago.
  2. I really like the idea of moving the second part of that CU series out to the 2030's and playing in 2 of those "neutral site" kickoff games with an SEC team. Maybe host our home game in KC at Arrowhead. Something like... LSU at the Superdome or TAMU at Jerryworld OR! Florida in Jacksonville Edit-- I really wouldn't mind scheduling a h/h with UCF/USF/FSU/UF either. We're gonna recruit the hell out of Florida with Frost and this staff here. Might as well play there if we can.
  3. Absolutely it is. Not absolving the schools from any of the blame here at all. But that's what I mean by every verbal commitment being a "soft" verbal. Both sides are thrilled with the idea of the commitment until one gets a better opportunity- whether its a better offer or a better prospect at that spot becomes seriously interested. As a famous man once said: "There are many sides. Many sides."
  4. he probably wants to but they are probably still waiting on higher rated kids. If he has the green light he will flip. Which gets back to what @ScottyIce and I have been talking about in other threads. He's essentially committed to Nebraska twice now as a placeholder while he angles for a commitable offer from Ohio State. If that never comes he will go to UNL. The second they say "go ahead" he's headed there. I'm not mad/upset about it it just is what it is. Why I've been saying "commitments" are essentially just prospects naming leaders in their recruitment and any/all verbal commitments should be considered "soft". And that isn't just for people committed to Nebraska- that's everywhere.
  5. i want Moses Bryant and Milton Sargbah and I want them badly. Wouldn't even be opposed to scholarships in February if we have them available.
  6. i consider everyone that commits a soft verbal and essentially take commitments as naming us the leader. Makes the inevitable decommitments a lot easier and signing day that much sweeter.
  7. well he plays Offensive Tackle so of course he isn't interested in NU
  8. would you rather him lie like every other high school kid and say he runs a 4.45?
  9. I'd just rather play all FBS teams when possible. If you somehow drop one of these games its more forgivable to lose to a Memphis/Cincinnati/UCF than it is to lose to North Dakota and North Dakota State. Not that the Huskers should worry about losing these games but you never know (see NIU this past year).
  10. wish we would've stuck to the no FCS thing but I get it

  12. Steve Wiltfong CB'd Parsons to Nebraska in I believe early to mid October.
  13. is there any timeframe on when this will/won't be official?
  14. To resemble a team that represents what Nebraska football has been and should be about. Mental and physical toughness. Playing with tenacity. Outworking and out hustling opponents. Playing with the physicality and strength necessary in all phases of the game to win. Sure tackles from everyone on defense with no more "kinda throw my shoulder out there and hope he trips" tackle attempts. Competition in every aspect of the program resulting in players being able to win spots by practicing well. Guys feeling the heat if they aren't performing on the field. Accountability on and off the field. The implementation of the culture that Scott Frost wants at Nebraska. Doing the above will fix a lot of the issues we've had in the past in terms of wins/losses. If this team can be properly motivated and play with physical and mental toughness, the turnaround in the results column will be quicker than most think.
