  1. supposed to be here this weekend, no? Has he been here before?
  2. http://www.espn.com/college-football/recruiting/insider/story/_/id/19673381/these-new-assistants-already-tearing-recruiting-class-2018 Donte Williams, Nebraska Williams was hired from Arizona in December as the Cornhuskers' defensive backs coach. The Cornhuskers have been trying to increase their presence in California, and Williams has helped push that even farther forward. So far, as a Nebraska coach, he has helped land the top-ranked commitment in the class in corner Mario Goodrich as well as the second-highest ranked commit in Chase Williams and ESPN 300 defensive back Brendan Radley-Hiles. That's quite the haul in a short amount of time. The hire has paid off with the prospects and the fact that two of his commits, Williams and Radley-Hiles, are from California. Plus a Tim Beck mention

  4. I'd doubt he ever visits. Not a knock on the kid, but we've heard this before....their interested in visiting right after their offer then nothing happens.
  5. when does he get here this week? this is the kid i'm most excited about having on campus for FNL, love that we are getting a visit even though it would seem to be an uphill battle.
  6. One more pick to surprise some people- Colin Miller. Think he's gonna make an impact at some point this year for us

  8. I've been a big proponent of Calvin Avery but sometimes a bird in hand is better than two in the bush. Glad to have Masry fully on board and committed.

  11. Benning said nobody considers him part of the class fwiw
  12. I really wish we would look at Will Levis, 2018 QB from CT. Kid is absolutely blowing up right now as he attends more and more camps. Was just down at FSU and scooped an Ole Miss offer today. Pretty mobile for his size and has a great arm. Would love to see what Riley and Langs could do with a prospect like him.
  13. this is underratedly very big. we need to keep him in the fold especially since he's thinking about taking other visits.
  14. Eric Lee. I think he ultimately unseats Lamar Jackson at CB.
  15. committing Friday, we made his final five: http://www.scout.com/college/football/recruiting/story/1785032-four-star-wr-sets-commitment-date
  16. watch Manny Allen's answer when they ask if he's enrolling early with anyone else. start at 2:00: "I can't say one because he hasn't committed yet, but Bookie for sure"

Michael Lewis, just finishing his first season at NU, confirmed to The World-Herald that he interviewed Friday night for the head coach opening at Butler. Lewis was an assistant at the Big East school for five years before coming to Nebraska. Lewis said he was informed Sunday night he didn’t get the job. On Monday night, Butler announced Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s LaVall Jordan — another former Butler assistant — as its new coach. Lewis is seen in basketball circles as a definite head coach prospect. He earlier drew interest from Miami of Ohio and Austin Peay. At Nebraska, Lewis replaced Phil Beckner, who was at NU one season. Beckner replaced Rashon Burno, who left after 50 days to go to Arizona State.
