  1. I'd rather keep Miles one more year and keep an eye on Craig Smith at South Dakota. That dude can coach, especially offense.
  2. Bishop Gorman's Quarterback https://twitter.com/dorianstweets/status/836417298520952832
  3. Lol they just left the camera on Miles a little longer than he probably would've liked. After Roby gave up that 3 he pointed at him and yelled "who the F*** do you think you are? You've got to F****** earn your God D*** minutes"
  4. no worries at all. Just didn't know what the deal was. We the champions til we aint the champions no more!
  5. No it wasn't, I didn't expect a win. I was expecting MSU to come out on fire. They are playing for their tournament life right now and this was a game they just couldn't lose. Kind of like us. We just need to win out the regular season and take one more in the B1G ten tourney to make the NIT. With our sos do you feel we need a winning record to make the NIT or a .500 record Mav? I'm not Mav but were not making the NIT no matter what IMO. Not enough quality wins compared to the losses and we're too far off the radar at this point.
  6. very very good shot here. I would imagine we will use Bookie (if we land him) on O/D similar to how we told Lenoir we would use him for some snaps on O this past cycle as well.
  7. also if you could add USC UCLA and Alabama that would be great Edit: guess my UConn Huskies are trying to get into the mix here too https://twitter.com/Manuel2Allen/status/824486552541630464
  8. no longer committed to USC https://twitter.com/Manuel2Allen/status/835264572575502337
  9. http://www.scout.com/college/football/recruiting/story/1757442-four-star-wr-updates-big-10-commitment?s=204 Says his commitment is "strong" but schools are still talking to him. OU, USC, UCLA remaining in contact. Hasn't decided about taking unofficials but will take all 5 official visits. Says he talks to Donte and Keith Williams regularly. Says they're family. Visiting here unofficially this summer. Seems to have a good head on his shoulders. Feel better about his commitment after watching the video.
  10. McVeigh played a large role on the missed FTif you can, rewind it and watch it again in slow mo. it's not McVeigh's guy that gets it but the guy that comes from the top of the key that runs right past Taylor that actually corrals the rebound. Although I will say Jack didn't do himself any favors getting shoved underneath the hoop.Point is he was on the bottom block and boxed out no one. Not an uncommon occurrence for him yeah not really disagreeing he did horribly on that possession just pointing out why I made the comment in regards to Taylor. McVeigh needs to put on some muscle this offseason and be able to swing between the 3 and 4 next season IMO.
  11. Despite not scoring Roby has given solid minutes tonight. Few hustle plays and a tough rebound that led to a foul earlier. He needs more minutes.

  13. Evan Taylor is atrocious at blocking his man out. Literally atrocious. His fault on the FT missed block out that resulted in 2 points, his fault on the missed block out the ensuing possession, his fault on the last put back as well.
  14. I love Tim Miles but this team makes so many stupid shoot yourself in the foot errors. How many times have we given up a ridiculous O board like that off a missed FT this year? Free 2 points for Michigan State and then Morrow clangs one of his FT's on the other end. 3 point swing right there.
  15. Conversely, it will be really nice when Jordy learns to stop fouling 25 feet from the basket
  16. We are simply at our best when we feed the post and can play through Jordy down there. He gets great looks in the paint and if/when he becomes a better passer it will allow us to get better looks from 3 as well
  17. Also it is worth noting as far as the NCAA is concerned that we are actually 11-14 since the win over University of Mary doesn't count for tournament purposes
