  1. to me he moves like a TE/H Back. Get up beefed up and let him play H/Slot
  2. Huskers look good tonight. Up 13 with 11 minutes to go, lets see if we've learned to put our foot on their throats and finish this game off
  3. Heck of an accomplishment for my alma mater! Haven't lost since dropping a game @ Stanford in 2014 by 2 in OT.

Actions speak louder than words with Eichorst, and certainly more often, so we’ll have to wait until the end of the season. Not me. I say bring Miles back next season. This is not another one of those columnist-gets-caught-up-in-the-moment pieces. Nebraska has lost three straight and stands at 10-14 and 4-8 in a Big Ten that was nowhere to be found in the committee’s top 16. If anything, this is the point with past regimes where I’ve said, “Check, please.” But there’s something different now, something present that wasn’t around in 2006 or 2012. Hope. Barry Collier got six years. Doc Sadler got six. That doesn’t mean Miles should automatically get six. But there are some good reasons he should.

  7. would really like to get Babb Trout and the rest of the STL crew up here for the game
  8. Even with the 22 turnovers the most frustrating statistic for me tonight is Nebraska from the free throw line: 15-24 for 62.5% You can't shoot that low of a percentage from the line at home. You just can't. I don't care if Morrow has missed the past 7 games, 1-5 from the free throw line including 0-2 at a time when Nebraska needed at least 1 is just ridiculous.
  9. It is all situational though. You have zero need to help off of Nigel Hayes with 18 seconds left in the game up by 2 when you're 23 feet from the basket. It just doesn't make any sense. I'm all for the doubling in the post- it obviously kept Nebraska in the game tonight. But it was totally and completely unnecessary at that point in the game and it wound up costing Nebraska the game. All of this is irrelevant if Morrow makes his FT's. But its Nebraska and this is what we do- we don't shut the door on teams when we have the opportunity. Its why we've lost 3 games by 1 point this season, blew the Clemson game when we had the lead late in the second half, and even some of the wins (Purdue, Dayton) have been more about surviving our massive amount of mistakes rather than us truly closing the door on them. Its frustrating and I don't know that its all on the players- wtf exactly was Miles trying to accomplish out of that last time out with 17 seconds left? Team looked completely confused. This is a game that Nebraska should have won and what's frustrating as a fan is that this is the fifth time I've said that about a Nebraska basketball game this season.
  10. There is your difference in the game. Morrow misses 2 FT's with Nebraska up 2 Wisconsin makes a 3 and that will do it.
  11. It just doesn't make sense why you are doubling on the perimeter and leaving their best player wide open for a 3. I mean literally zero sense. Double the post fine but why the hell are you doubling the perimeter there? That just flat out doesn't make any sense
  12. that is the right call unfortunately I think. Not enough there to overturn it. Don't give up a good look at 3 here and don't foul and we will be fine
