You are wrong in the aspect that we "Grab on and hold on for help". That would be our corners and safeties, Because we see outside runs the most often, People have gotten used to being stuffed up the middle by us, So they go outside. We'll have our heavy run stoppers in to begin the game, you can be sure of that. Octavian, Bradley, And Mckeon are our lay-the-wood kind of linebackers. They dont do any of that pansy hold on. They take em out, w/o question. I am not worried about our line or linebackers against a tough up the middle offense. We have the talent (carriker, octavian, mckeon) to stop anything that goes up our center. Carriker will likely line up at DT more often to stop this too. I am only worried about if they go outside when our LBs are caught on a blitz. That would leave our Corners/Safeties alone in the tackling, which is not a recipe for success. As long as we can move the ball on offense, And stop the outside running game (as we will stop the inside) we will win this game.

Ahh. The Fake punt with thefake hardcount and the direct snap to Tierre Green all in one play made me laugh. Taylor just walking over to the sideline, people getting laid out about 5 yards away. Hes still just walking along, Looking over his shoulder at the play. That was great.

I am content with Grixby for the time being. The last few games he has minimized his mistakes, and really stepped up his game. I'm very happy with his performance. Shanle sucks, I wont even try and defend him. Cant wait for Bowman next year!!!

Pfft... Alright, How about this? Ruud/Mckeon/Octavian vs. Lane Winner, Our entire linebacking corp. There will be no 1 on 1 tackling in this game. In case you haven't noticed, We swarm the ball. Lane beats Ruud, He gets into a battle he will never win against Octavian and Mckeon. This is all academic anyways, Its not like hes getting much past Carriker and the D Line :

I project Fiesta or Cotton.... We can lose this weekend, It doesn't matter anymore. All we have to do after beating Mizzou is beat Colorado, and we are in the Big 12 Championship no matter what representing the north. We will go in against Texas, Yes they beat us last time, But all i know is we are gonna be pissed for that game. No doubt about it. We'll see if they get as lucky as they did in Lincoln in the Championship.

Lane runs right up the gut between the tackles let him bring his huge arse up in there, The shirts will be ready to play. Indeed. He may have been goin' against some tough hitters, But he has yet to see the likes of Mckeon and Octavian. I am confident they will be able to stop him dead in his tracks. Carriker is a frickin' animal, so i have no worries about outside play. I think we will be able to keep Lane well contained with our talent in key positions. Bring him on!!!

Agree with Everything except your problems with Ruud. He makes open field tackles, and is easily our best Coverage Linebacker. We need him for 3rd and long when we know they are passing, Because all Octavian can do is inflict pain to everything in his way on a blitz. As much as i love that style of play, its not what we need on 3rd and long, unless we are positive he can split the gaps and make a play. Coverage is as important as blitzing being a LB, believe it or not.

Hes not Coaching effectively, Let alone coaching to win. Get him outta there, hes worthless.
