    that beat down by Iowa and ohio st. last yr. tennessee most of the game just from last yr. how about games where we actually look good and not trying to scramble and come from behind sometime you have to win these games

    you make it sound like mike and crew are the ones to get us there, but do you think prospects want to watch the team they are interested in play like we have most every time we play anyone with a pulse. That kind of play on tv can really hurt recruiting and what is even more important is your ability to develope players

    I don't know how old you are but I think there are a whole lot of sub 40yr olds that are on here where you either didn't experience when we were good so there is no reference point or maybe it is a generation thing idk

    my point exactly, look how demanding the fans were then when we were relevant! This ongoing yr after yr after yr with the woodshed beatings, the the embarrasment on national tv just about every time we go national They would have strung up riley and crew and every other debacle of coaching staffs we have had in the last 15 yrs

    Dude we were LIGHT yrs better then we played and competed and won against the best in the country. We were always ranked in the top 15 and most the time in the top ten If this piss poor excuse of play would have been around then how long do you think TO would have been around?

    it is very unlikely he will substantially rise above his baseline!!!

    and even if TO struggled "some" he was able to stay relevant because he had a much higher baseline from the get go

    I didn't say it was a guarantee but a very good predictor and do you see where I said you are either getting better or the same ( maybe worse) well Mike is not getting better like you all said he would he is right about there at bogey golf

    So your present skill level has nothing to do with your future ability. hmmmmmm well I am a bogey golfer, but tommorow if things go right I will be on the pro tour Not! because I have limits and will never be a pro you are either getting better or you are not to some degree or another History is a very good indicator of future events
