I wouldn't count out Hoiberg returning to college. Especially the way his star players treated him in Chicago. It's hardly a team of stars. Jimmy Butler yes, but the surrounding cast is an aging D-Wade, locker room cancer Rajon Rondo, and perennial all stars Nikola Mirotic (sp?) and Robin Lopez.
The issue in Chicago is the front office, lots of unrest over how Gar Forman is managing the team. It's a bold strategy aimed at getting a high pick, problem is they're 30-29.
Hoiberg's teams rely on spacing and shooters, nothing that Nebraska currently has. So in comes forced attrition and transfers.
Attrition and transfers has been a way of life for Miles. So it's nothing newAnd a round and round we go, never establishing a solid program. This is the first time in his tenure that he has a base of 4 solid freshman and 3 solid sophomores...not counting transfers. I say let it shake out and see if they get better.
If the freshman leave this summer, it's officially a hot seat.
4 freshman?
3 freshman, 4 sophomores, 3 transfers & another incoming highly rated HS player.
Problem is miles doesn't know how to coach em up.
Tai Webster Webster disagrees. Either way it'll work itself out.
Smh. Tai played for New Zealand national team. I'm pretty sure he learned more there then at Nebraska.
