If there weren't so many glaring problems I would say this can get ironed out in a few games, but I'm afraid it will rear it's ugly head at various times during this season. I say, give it a while and get a second quarterback coached up and give him a try, if for no other reason, to give Martinez a chance to sit and get his head back in the game. I saw Martinez many times during the game with a headset on and I think he is getting overloaded, which you see in young quarterbacks.

Well look at it this way.... maybe our players wont be better players but maybe they'll be better cooks after the season.

Lets face it, promoting from within just won't get this done. And this needs to be a big time hire, someone proven. The hole in our defensive ship this year was huge. Go big or go home has to be the byine for this hire.

I would say not getting you name mentioned on TV as Nebraskas defensive coordinator as we are loosing 62-3. He has a tremendous talent for remaining totally anonymous and unknown to everyone. Wait does that count as good? Well it's what he does, so yes, he must do it well.
