Even if they come back as false negatives, they are probably still out a practice or two while they figure it all out I'm sure. I think we'd be very concerned if someone like Benhart missed 1-2 practices and then had to play, so I can't imagine a freshman QB. He's incredibly talented, but those reps at this point are probably invaluable. Here's to hoping they are both doing well and that they can get that negative result and play. No asterisk wanted. Or reason to call it a dumpster fire for losing to a 4th stringer..

We aren't good by any means, but hopefully Minnesota coming back to a more realistic level this year helps in cases like this and future midwest recruits.
