On a positive note. Assuming Frost is coming here. There was a thought process I saw circulating that, "well this would be a bad time to bring in a new head coach because they will get beat around next year with the brutal 2018 schedule". As horrible as we are this year, even with the tough schedule I would imagine Frost can still surpass a record of 4-8 and improve our record next year. Then be in line for a big jump in record for 2019 with a manageable schedule.

I would assume with the budget we have at nebraska he would make a few changes to his staff.

Before we do that I hope he comes back and instills in these kids what a blackshirt means. The sacrifice past blackshirts put in to be great. They are carrying on a tradition and playing to uphold the integrity of the blackshirt. No one fears the blackshirts anymore and its time people do. No more getting 40 and 50 plus dropped on us.

I would say if he was going for an undefeated season go do their bowl game. If he loses to USF at the end of the year or loses in conference title game. Whats the point.

Seriously. I think we all know sources and things dont always pan out if things change directions- doesnt mean they were not true at some point. But to make a claim its a done deal and its happening tomorrow. What crap.

So I am not watching the press conference but I am guessing Riley is telling everyone the kids are working hard. Gonna be a great week of practice. The kids want a bowl game. Possibly that he got the athlete cafeteria to start carrying sprinkles for the soft serve machine?

Hey if Frost wants to get a feel for where is wanted the most. Look at our 96 page thread to the 7 page thread UCF has going on Frost. Not to mention each of our pages carries way more posts than theirs.

Also for what its worth Florida sites are talking about Kelly like its a done deal and nothing on Frost anymore hardly at all.

Why I am confused by that post as well. Jessica did you mis type that or something. You go on to say chip kelly will probably be announced this week. Does that mean their push to get frost didnt work? Please explain.

So fair to say the rumors yesterday about something getting announced today are bull**** if we dont hear something pretty quick.

I personally dont see the big deal with Gruden. You never know if NFL guys can recruit.

But dont they typically call a special conference for big announcements like that. I doubt they roll into the standard weekly presser and be like "oh riley is out"

I am not really worried about any of these other big job openings. The main threat is the thought of him staying at UCF IMHO. I think he is N, I just wish we didnt have to wait a few weeks to find out.

Frost may have told them he is staying at UCF before Nebraska offered, or because he didn't want Nebraska deal leaked to press. Either way it doesn't worry me too much. If he doesn't take our offer now he never will. What would waiting 1 year do? If this is his dream job as he has said publicly he won't turn it down
