  1. I don't like him, but I do respect him. I am not going to give him any flack, he wants to play. I live in Ohio so I get caught up in the feud. I am jealous, because Nebraska down't have anything like this yet. Never will to that level. I teach with a former player who played with Harbaugh and my boss is a season ticket holder. They both say there is no way B1G is playing anytime soon.
  2. Again, Michigan (Meechicken) is just avoiding another OSU loss this calendar year!
  3. Probably more ploy to get listeners than anything.....
  4. Not really that complex, lack of leadership on many fronts. What the hell is the difference between Mid-October and sometime after Nov. 3rd?
  5. They can get by with, better info, and better testing. If they vote yes, I promise I won't tell them they were stupid earlier!
  6. I think 6 or 7 A couple of things related: I teach at a Christian school. About 20 years ago I was giving a chapel talk about truth. I brought up Santa and truth form you parents. The youngest kids in the chapel were 6th grade. I thought I was safe, I got a few calls, parents weren't made, just wanted to tell the kids themselves. Several years later, our pastor was giving a sermon and told the story about the original St. Nick. I couldn't be mad, I did the same thing. We went home and talked about it. The kids said they had known for years. They found our hiding place. They decided not to say anything because they figured it would cut down on the number of gifts...they were right. My oldest was 10 or 11 at the time. My youngest was 5 or 6.
  7. So I think the problem is the B1G presidents basically think they are the Ivy league and seem to want to follow their lead. If any of Bucknuts stuff is true, at least they are spending the time and looking at all the info.
  8. I can't wait until Tuesday so we can get more news about stuff that isn't going to happen.
  9. My immunity may have been low. It was cellulitis that I had. It went from 0 to a 100 really fast. I have had it many times before. Had an IV for it once int he emergency room. This time I was on IV antibiotics for a little over 3 weeks. I had a PICC line in at home and had to do an IV every 6 hours. My wife is a saint for being my "nurse" for almost 2 weeks.
  10. It wouldn't surprise me if people at OSU are leaking stuff. They are more pissed than the Huskers. They think this is their year. They seem to let Nebraska carry the water for them. This is pure speculation on my part.
  11. For a couple of days is all. I really had symptoms for a few days. 7 days later except loss of taste and smell I felt normal. I have had worst colds. I did get the pneumonia vaccine last year. There are some thoughts that it help lighten the symptoms. I read that somewhere? I don't know if that is true or not. Also one of my nurses thought that the virus may have mutated or at least this is a different strain and not as strong.
  12. Infection is gone, but still dealing with wound care because the whole thing blistered and opened up. My infectious disease DR. wouldn't say it was directly related to Covid, but maybe. (If he would say it was a result of Covid the insurance company would write the whole ting off) Indirectly yes, because no one would see me. It was a wake up call. I have been eating right and well and I have lost 20+ pounds already. I am going to make 6 weeks of hell stand for something.
  13. It was OK. Even being 52 and diabetic, I have had colds worse. However I ended up having a leg infection that got really bad. It got bad because no DR. office will let you in until 30 to 45 days after symptoms are gone. Did an online visit and the antibiotics didn't help. That put me in the hospital. If you know anyone with a Covid diagnosis and they have other health issue, the only place that will see you is the emergency room.
  14. I was positive with the antigen test. I was tested less than 24 hours after the first symptoms. The biggest symptom I had was loss of taste and smell. That lasted about 3 1/2 weeks. Antigen tests does get a bad rap, but we are hoping the vaccine is 75% effective. Is anything sure? Have to go with what is best and most cost effective. Also, sucky thing? You can test positive for up 2 to 3 months.
  15. There has been cases in Ohio HS with kids on teams gettin git, but it seems that the cases are coming from activities outside of FB and school. 1 party can set back a whole campus and/or team. This is the issue college campuses are dealing with now, not sports.
  16. Watched an interview with the OSU Prez. She is working hard to get fall FB done. These kids have worked too hard. We have done the work to keep them safe. Let's play FB. What she needed to say was, Those pussies at the school up north just don't want to lose to us again this year! That would swing at least one vote. Trust me, that would play well here.
  17. Take your political crap out of here, dump on the other 7 threads. I want football!
  18. Feels like another tease. Burlesque at it's finest. Give me the real thing or give me death!!
  19. I found this interesting. After what is now 2 weeks of fall sports in Ohio, Akron SD reversed course and are allowing fall sports. Things seem to have gone OK here, I hope it continues. Let's hope if the leagues playing FB have a few weeks of no issues the B1G prez's pull their collective heads out of their butts and rethink their decision. But, I am not hopeful.
  20. Has it been mentioned that ALL versions have the flu have the potential to cause Myocarditis? I discussed this with a Infectious disease doc. He said that is true.
  21. Understand that, looking for discussion related to the topic, you know, what a discussion board is for?
  22. I don't want to sound like a complete jerk, but this is the topic I would like to follow. Not everyone's opinion on testing or covid conspiracies. I just want to know the latest on a possible start to the season. Rumors or factual. I have had to weave through about 3 or 4 different threads to find anything. Mods I hope this is OK thanks! I have seen possible October/Thanksgiving/Spring. I think this could be an important week.
  23. Just 3 episodes in and it is awesome. Really curious where it goes. If we weren't traveling early in the morning, I would watch the first season tonight.
  24. Cobra Kai dropped on Netflix. I haven't seen it yet. I am guessing you have seen it Teach
  25. Starting to look like racial injustice is more likely to cancel season than Covid.
