  1. Welp I stand corrected, not the best look for Nebraska.
  2. My point still stands. Average Americans (many that would/did vote for Biden) won't read up on the in's and out's of oil supply/demand and tie the current administration to current gas prices.
  3. Just the tip of the iceberg unfortunately. I'll use my sister in law as an example. She's a Nurse, with kids, modest home, probably the average American in many regards. See her weekly, never have heard speak a word about anything politics, not Trump, not Biden, nada. This past weekend she says, "Why are gas prices so high? Is it the new President?" I assume there is a lot of that out there. Not the Biden admin's creation but it is their problem.
  4. Home and Home with UNO added. Thankfully we're getting some games in.
  5. LBSU openly looking for games. Doesn't look like anyone else is. 03/08/2022 Division: NCAA Div. I Season: 2022 Open Dates: Mar. 11-13 School/Organization: Long Beach State University Contact Name: Bryan Peters Phone: 562-985-4661 Email: Bryan.Peters@csulb.edu Address: 1250 Bellflower Boulevard Long Beach, CA, 90840 Other Information: Looking for games this weekend due to schedule cancelation. Hope we can fill our slate and they get screwed.
  6. Nebraska still hasn't tweeted about it, making me think LBSU decided this on their own and left us high and dry. That's 2 straight weeks on the schedule that a southern cali team was suppose to come to Lincoln but left us scrambling. I'm sure Bolt is livid.
  7. *When asked about production targets for 2022 during a January earnings call, ExxonMobil CEO Darren Woods responded, "The primary objectives we've had in looking at the portfolio is less about volume and volume targets and more about the quality and profitability of the barrels that we're producing." Straight from the horses mouth.
  8. What incentive do the Oil Companies have for boosting output? Seems like they are probably making bank, and increased output = more cost to them, and lower prices. One article I read had a US Oil Exec quote that said (paraphrasing) 'Yeah, we're gonna have to run increasing output by our investors' - which screams to me, yeah we'll increase output if our investors wanna make less money (HAHAHAHA).
  9. IDK about that. We just had 4 starters throw 26.1 giving up 2 earned runs this entire weekend. Olson and Ornelas have been solid BP arms. There's a ton of young arm talent, I've heard Jelkin is a top 3 arm on the team but just has figure out the off the field balance. I think the coaches have faith in Gomes, Bragg, Bradford all being factors in the pen as well.
  10. This pitching staff has potential. Night and day from the first two weeks and it wasn’t just a competition thing.
  11. Ben and Greg indicated his body language wasn't the best and was annoyed on close pitches. I get the trying to manufacture confidence thing, but also think at 2-6 we just need to focus on wins and don't have the luxury. Hopefully we go get 2 today.
  12. It was painfully obvious to give Gomes the hook. He wasn’t locating the breaking pitch and was visibly shook.
  13. Yep uranium miners or Sprott now has a Uranium trust so you can be exposed to physical.
  14. My HS civics teacher is somewhere very disappointed in me. My bad
  15. I just posted the same in the Russia thread, probably should have posted it here. Being hard on Russia is a win-win for R's. Gas and Food prices will be sky high this summer and will burry the Dems.
  16. Side note, if we want to bring it home to American politics. Republicans are gonna clean house on upcoming elections. The not dumb ones are going hard after Putin, so they look tough on Russia. And when food and fuel prices go through the roof this year they'll pin it all on Dems owning all 3 branches.
  17. Theres a lot to consider. I wish it was as easy as 'We need to punish Putin', but we have to acknowledge Putin holds bargaining chips too. Theres the continuing loss of life if the war rages on, on top of that Russia holds the keys to lessening the blow of skyrocketing fuel, energy and food costs that are gonna be felt everywhere - even places that can't afford it.
  18. Hopefully something can be worked out. This seems way more reasonable.
  19. He miscalculated and needs an off ramp. I hope dialogue opens up, and Ukrainians stop getting bombed.
  20. Thanks for the heads up, a lot of of the guys I follow on twitter are heavy into commodities right now, I'll have to find some of them that are playing oil. Also seems like there will be a an opportunity to play grain prices. Honestly just playing any commodity should net you a nice gain over the next decade.
