My man Brian Kelly was recruiting up until the second he signed on the dotted line. Don't get me wrong, every hour that goes by with Joseph not being here makes it clearer and clearer he won't, but this proves nothing. He is doing a job he is currently being paid to do.

I have to assume it needs to be ASAP with the early signing day happening on the 15th. That's not a lot of time to shore up what you can with this class (I know it's going to be small and pretty bad from a star perspective). I don't see why delaying brings anything unless they are coaching this weekend.

I have no information and a very uneducated opinion. If I were in charge, I'd go all in on the OL coach. Everything must be centered around them for offense. The rest will fall into place, but they must be ace recruiters. It'd be something like: -OC/QB - New guy -OL - New guy -WR/TE - Beckton -RB - Ron Brown or new guy -ST Coordinator - Hopefully Sean Snyder or someone like that.

I think Korn is probably the best fit scheme-wise. I do think Frost will take a more CEO style role, but don't kid yourself and think he will be uninvolved with the offensive process. The key here is going to be getting a rockstar OL coach and surround him with rockstar recruiters.

A huge aspect to this has to be recruiting prowess as well. How was Helfrich at recruiting? He's been out of the game for awhile and I don't know if his resume holds up to recruits these days.
