  1. It would be adjusted to work with that defense better. I am with @Born N Bled Red in not wanting to see that. Iowa actually having an offense would be not good for Nebraska.
  2. Come again? One more time for those in the back.
  3. It wouldn't be the first time we've started a true freshman, in fact it has happened very recently if you recall.
  4. I donated a while back and haven't been bombarded at all. Granted there may be a dollar amount that triggers that which I certainly did not meet.
  5. We want the Nebraska kids, don't get me wrong, but there absolutely is not the same level of talent in Nebraska that we are talking about in signing DR. This is the one spot where one guy can be the difference. You don't pass this opportunity up.
  6. I'm not saying you're wrong, I simply hadn't seen any evidence indicating he was even considering joining the team again. So basically your last sentence yes.
  7. Show me where coaches and media have said he'll be here, that's exactly what I asked for.
  8. You are way overreacting. You should be there for spring ball yes, but this isn't some giant game of musical chairs. He could probably start for 20+ FBS teams. Do we even know he still wants to play football?
  9. What besides conspiracy theories makes anyone think CP is coming back to the team?
  10. You have to be out of HS 3 years to be eligible for the draft. If he starts next year he has to be a junior to leave.
  11. Definitely a marked as read, you should do it to every post. If you click the options once, each one has a description next to it. The eyes say "worth a look". It also can mean check this out, watch this, etc.
  12. The receivers we have are better than you think. We could use more experience yes, but we have talented frosh.
  13. My favorite part is where he argues against hypotheticals that are irrelevant.
  14. I can see it, and I can see him doing really well. He belongs as an OC with someone providing oversight. Some people shouldn't be promoted past the job they are really good at.
  15. It's not though. People say that and the Denver Nuggets and Texas Rangers just won for the first time in forever/ever. The Arizona Diamondbacks were in the world series. The Dodgers spend money, they've only won a short season Covid championship in the last 35 years. The Mets blew everyone away in payroll and missed the playoffs entirely last year. It doesn't buy championships, and it isn't the same team winning every year. That happens way more in college football actually, which is what you are comparing this to.
  16. It doesn't sound like you watch much professional sports. Money also does not buy championships these days, and it is pretty hilarious watching teams still try to do that.
  17. He is the one claiming that our backups can still be developed, and we can't say/don't know what HH's abilities are, so I am pretty sure it was him. Which makes it him arguing with himself now.
  18. Makes sense on some of the difficulties. When do we have to get down to 88/85? There is some time to get creative or work on some movement right?
  19. We absolutely know what Haarberg's ability is. Is putting a square peg in a round hole a better metaphor for you? Are you telling me you would rather have Haarberg over a 5 star?
