  1. He just wanted to wish them well, check in. We are so gonna make moves on ourselves!
  2. Let the rumors fly, or let the YOLO bombs fly???
  3. You have more liberty to b!+ch and moan if you are a booster.
  4. If we really are getting former 5 star McCord for 1 year, followed by 5 star Raiola for a couple years after that, you see the writing on the wall as a 3 star guy. Could he win the job still? Sure, but I would evaluate all my options personally.
  5. Watching the decryption efforts here is hilarious.
  6. It's cause I donated $5 to the NIL guys, and I own an Adidas sweatshirt. You're welcome!
  7. I did, just threw up a laughing emoji for him.
  8. Eyeballs means "watch this" or "pay close attention". The balloons references the NU tradition and basically is a GBR.
  9. The good news is we can suck for another 20 years and still be in the top 10 it appears! By then none of us would give a crap anymore.
  10. Which is the largest problem with politics in this country, people can't separate being republican, democrat, a tuna fish, whatever from things like science, education, football message boards etc. Get it out of here people.
  11. Pretttttty sure Rhule would make room for the FL EDGE, no questions asked.
  12. You got a tweet to embed! I actually cheered. Also, if we take QBs and Sims leaves, we would have 4 QBs on the roster folks. HH is NOT a QB and they'll move him back to TE where they had him if I had to (hope) guess. Absolute in case of emergency guy.
  13. Which is a moot point since it didn't happen, and no two years are the same. You've seen the last decade, every year brings new fun. QB improves and all of a sudden we have leaky pass defense so it doesn't matter, etc.
  14. All bets are off when you have free rushers coming at you.
  15. I am simply saying QB isn't the only issue. I am not in the camp that thinks a QB instantly gets us from 5 wins to 10. Ward seems to like to go off script and make hero plays whoch is great sometimes, but he turns it over some also. He seems like a great fit for OSU as they need that to put them over the top, as they have everything else already. Howard seems like a solid fit for us, and I am not seeing the fit at USC for him. McCord could fit, but he will need others to take the next step, we need another WR, and his numbers still probably won't match his last year at Ohio State. I am not sure we sign any of the top ranked guys though if they are 1 and done, we aren't set up to be an NFL springboard at QB yet, it all depeneds on what an individual wants. If NIL, fan support, and just helping a program take the next step is enough we could. If plyaing in the playoff/being a top 15 team and going to the NFL via a ready made situation are goals then we can't win that. Honestly I'd be happy with Howard or McCord, but I am not expecting either to be a savior. We need consistent development to be competitive, and people saying we can get to 9-10 wins with a QB are downplaying just how easy the schedule was this year. Things also never stay exactly the same year over year, so saying we just have to add one piece and keep the rest the same isn't going to happen. Some things improve, some get worse every year.
  16. I think they truly believed Sims could bridge the gap, run when you have to but be able to make every throw they wanted. He is definitely capable of making every throw a QB needs to, but that isn't enough to play QB. That's why guys who can't make all the throws still can be good QBs, at least in college. It just didn't work out with Sims. I'm not convinced McCord is the answer, but he is much closer to what they want than what's on the roster. He will just need help, and the supporting cast is a step down from Ohio State. Hopefully everyone else can level up and maybe a Julian Fleming comes with him to be the default #1 WR as that's what he wants it appears. We have good supporting WR, could work out ok.
  17. I don't know if they ever truly wanted a QB run game. Simply playing the cards that were dealt with the offensive personnel on the team.
