I took a picture last night on my phone of the one Sooner I found at Humperdinks. The picture turned out poor, but the dude had an 18inch chuckwagon glued onto the top of his his hat. It looked heavy BTW- if your headed down today, Humperdinks, and the Sidetracks band, is back at. Today there is a $10 cover for the band in the beergarden. Waiting line again, but the line is part of the fun. There is also a $10 shuttle to and from the game. You have to prepurchase the ticket and they are going fast

Now I'm enjoying sitting in the hotel lobby listening to everyone's party story. People that are way past their drinking prime, staying out at the bars until 2am closing, then partying in the parking lot. Doesn't seem to be anyone hungover though. But maybe their still drunk?

We're at a hotel right next to Humperdinks restraunt and bar and the place where the Sidetracks band is playing. We just pulled up and there are literally hundreds of people spilling out of Humperdinks- 100% Huskers. There are so many that people are now just tailgating in the parking lot. I have not seen 1 Sooner fan as of yet

Going to a Sun Belt team is a lose-lose proposition, IMO. Yep. I know Carl is still earning his chops in the coaching world, but even he could do better than a perennial doormat in a perennial afterthought conference like ULL (no offense to ULL) if he sticks it out at Nebraska for a while longer. It's the equivalent of a player leaving early, then getting drafted in the sixth round. Shoulda stayed for their Senior year and gone in the second round.

I have thought about a kindle, but it seems that this might be expensive in the long run- as in not encouraging her to go the library. Also, I have no idea what four-lokos is? Maybe I should get her a gift card to Wicked Smoke. j/k

This is sad, but I didn't even know they still had poppers. I thought it was done via microwave- a popper is a great idea.

$300 I bought her a laptop last year, although I think the IPad looks so cool, i'm not really thinking of spending that much. I am thinking of a $300 gift card to bestbuy so she can buy a new tv. She only has a 13 inch right now.

What are you hoping to get for x-mas? My daughter is a freshman at UNO, lives in a "dorm" roon on campus and pretty much doesn't want or need much. I always pride myself on getting her really good gifts that are practical, but also desired. This year I am stumped. I realized that she is a girl and most of you are probably male, but what do you want this x-mas? I am down to gas and food gift cards, but that seems so unfun.
