It should also be mentioned that Ohio whooped up on Marshall something like 44-7 when they wore the black jerseys. Obviously it happened because not only do black jerseys make you look slimmer, but they actually make you more streamlined so you can run faster and become harder to tackle.

Since I didn't get to see the game what percentage were we running our dime defense with the two LB sets verses our new base with the 3 LB sets? Whatever set we were in, I'll never understand why Blatchford continuously wound up matched up against their supposed fastest guy in school history, the Wiley fella. time and time again. I'm sorry but Blatchford has no where near the athletic skill to hang with that guy and it showed. Maybe it was some baptism under fire, but it was a bad matchup all night. I didn't get to see the entire game, but from what I saw Blatchford played way better than last week. I really only saw him give up one play to the Wiley kid and he tripped him up before he could do too much damage. Seemed like he played no worse than the DBs (which isn't saying much). But like I said, I didn't get to see the entire game and missed all his blown coverages.

No QB expert and I don't pretend to be, but just from that picture it looks like he is throwing like a little kid does when they try to throw the ball as far as they can (which maybe he is doing) with the way he is leaning his body back when he pulls his arm back and putting his left arm out to help "pull" him forward into his throw.

I liked the song better before it had a video. They also made some slight changes to the song since I first heard it a week or two ago that were not for the better.

Not to take away from what Alex did, but with moving the kickoff up pretty much all the kickoffs were going deep in the endzone or in Oakland's case out the back...but still

I can't imagine that this is true. Children of professors or deans don't get automatic full rides to college, why would the children of coaches get that? Children of professors, deans, and many other full time employees get pretty darn close to full rides. I believe tuition is free (up to 15 credit hours at UNO), but they have to pay for books and student fees which is like next to nothing compared to tuition. And since UNL requires freshman live on campus (or does that not apply if you live in Lincoln?) I suppose you'd have to pay for your room for the first year.
