  1. http://journalstar.com/sports/huskers/football/husker-extra-mailbag-riley-staff-s-curious-personnel-decisions-and/article_f6f9c1e3-05e1-5c46-ae8b-4af9813cb25e.html#tncms-source=home-latest-1 Wow. Some good questions in there. Why burn Roberts and Bradleys redshirts over meaningless mopup duty? Why didn't the guy who rushed for 100+ the past threee games start? And a rundown of the ESPN Predictor for the rest of the season, and it's ugly. Their best chance of winning another game is a 38.9% chance of winning against Northwestern.
  2. Playing with an immobile QB is kind of like saying, "We're only going to play with 10 guys."
  3. If it wasn't for the crap he pulled during the '01 season, I would be fully onboard with Bohl.
  4. Sorry about that. Thanks for the clarification.
  5. I'm pretty sure that decision will be made for them. I think Frost would bring a lot of his current staff.
  6. Hire a HC with a direct line of succession to our pre-yo-yoing glory days. Then, keep him happy.
  7. He's looking at two consecutive years of +6 win improvement to the team's record. And when he was at UNI, they went 12-1 and 12-3.
  8. Pelini had 16 years of coaching experience after college before TO hired him. At the end of this season, Frost will have 13 years of coaching experience after college, plus 6 years of NFL playing experience.
  9. Oh yeah, there will be a lot of disapointment if we bring in Frost. Mostly amongst the hardcore Riley fans when Frost proves beyond a shadow of a doubt how horrible of a coach Riley is.
  10. You can't be serious with the bolded. Pelini had 1 game of HC experience and zero offensive experience. Frost has been a successful OC, DC and now HC. Plus, the list of legendary coaches that he's played for or coached with is way more impressive than Pelini's pedigree.
  11. A lot of that talk came AFTER Solich was fired and the Pederson/Callahan apologists got warmed up. 7-7 was a tough pill to swallow, and it caused a lot of gnashing of teeth.
  12. Thanks for confirming my earlier post where I said we had different definitions of Nebraska football.
  13. Wrong again. You should probably give up. Why do you care so much about my fandom?
  14. We have different definitions of Nebraska Football.
  15. Barry Alvarez was also before my time. But I do admire what he's done. He's implemented the Nebraska blueprint pretty well.
  16. Scott Frost, former Husker NC Champ, is their coach and I live in Orlando. That's the connection. I'm sure you'll have lots of fun with that.
  17. No, that's way too simplistic. And I have no connections to Wisconsin. If Frost went there I would reconsider.
  18. Like I said above, it's more a line of succession - coaching tree thing. But Wisconsin is using our actual blueprint, which is hard to stomach.
  19. He incorporates a lot of TO's philosophy, and it's also partly a line of succession thing. I'm not saying he is the only one who can be successful at Nebraska. He's just the only one that can get us back to the blueprint that BD and TO gave us.
  20. Maybe it would've been easier for you to understand if I had put air quotes around "Nebraska Football"? Oh, I see you snipped the part where I explained it in more detail. That's the way to take the high ground.
  21. I admit no such thing. Has nothing to do with the weather.
