It's not hype building. It's just people starting to learn what some already knew. I have been following his career since he started to be the OC at Oregon since I have a ton of respect for the Chip Kelly offense. I have been impressed by Scott Frost since then and I want him coaching at Nebraska. I don't care if there are some fans that don't want him, they will come around once they see the product on the field. It is easier to recruit to the Scott Frost offense than it is the Mike Riley offense.

Don't think in the terms of hiring a coach over 60 years old. Think in the terms of the next generation - 30's, 40's and early 50's.

Why would money be enough to get Shaw away from his dream job? He has said it is his dream job publicly. Shaw is Stanford through and through. Dantonio turns 62 in 4 months. Why would he want to take on a rebuild when he already built Michigan State at his age? You need to hire the next generation of great coaches, not the old generation that are on their way out - Les Miles, Stoops, Saban, and the like.

Coach Frost would destroy Coach Riley on the field this Saturday if they played. SMH. Frost is many times a better coach than Riley. Just two seasons into Coach Frost's head coaching career and he already has a better winning percentage than Riley.

And his wife is from Arizona. She will be closer to home with their kid at Nebraska than at Orlando. She can even build a home down there if she wants to live down there or have it be a vacation location.

Coach Frost has told some people he is willing to come back according to Sean Callahan. DB isn't close to Scott Frost. He is just speculating. You can tell DB respects him at least. That is why he talks about him.

People act like our new AD wouldn't know who Scott Frost is. Umm,,,,hello people, Frost was calling plays at Oregon when our new AD was at Washington State. He has seen up close multiple times what Scott Frost is about.

Scott Frost is the best fit that Nebraska can hire. That is one of the reasons fans are pushing for him. There are 10 P5 programs that have an alumni of their school as their head coach and not a single one of those 10 are on the hot seat this season.

There was a time when Barry wanted the Nebraska job. But guess who was still the head coach at Nebraska when Barry became a head coach and guess how many years after a certain coach retired when Barry called it quits to go up to the office. People need to have better logic in their posts sometimes.

What this year has tought people is that having an NFL arm that isn't Peyton Manning level doesn't do you much good if you don't have elite skill talent that you find at the likes of USCw, Florida State, and the like. At Nebraska we have learned that a running QB is a better recipe for success. Name me a pro style statue QB at Nebraska that has one 10 games in a season. Stop talking about Leach. Leach is another Mike Riley level higher for career winning percentage. Coach Frost has a better winning percentage than Leach and Riley. And Coach Frost's winning percentage is only going to get better and better.

It will take time. The program has been burnt to ashes by Riley. This is the level of the 1950's when we had losing seasons under Jennings. I am very confident that Coach Frost can come in and breath some fresh air and rebuild this thing. It will not be easy, but it can be done. And I don't want this fake "Calibraska" BS that was nothing but hype.

Usually they don't. AD openings at the P5 level are pretty rare though so the chances of that happening are pretty slim. At least for football.
