The UCF contingent are desperately holding on to any glimmer of hope they can find, and it's fading quickly.

Welp, it's down to us and UCF. Let's all hope and cheer for UCF to finish their season undefeated so that Frost can know that his reformation there is complete, and that it's time to return home and do the same.

Word on the street is that Norvell was vetted by a few schools, and then eliminated from consideration due to something in his past. The rumor is that it has something to do with gambling, and is a major issue that no major school will want to have revealed down the line if he were to be hired.

I feel that way, too... so far. If he lands Frost, he'll be one of my favorite people on the planet. If not, well...

Their AD was up in Washington this past week, so they think he was there talking to Petersen... instead, he was likely talking to Leach.

Anyone else hear the rumor that Moos was in Orlando last night ironing out the details with Frost, which is why he wasn't at the women's volleyball championship game? It's just hearsay, but I sure would like to believe it's true!

I don't think he'd be a bad hire; I just don't see him coming.

Tennessee will be announcing soon ... it'll be either Campbell, Mullen, or Schiano. Most fans think it will be Campbell or Mullen. If we don't get Frost, it'll be a collective punch in the gut. Sorry but I won't have much hope left if we don't land Frost. Nothing special about any of the other names mentioned.

We don't just want Frost, at this point, we NEED Frost, as a program, as a fanbase, as a state. People can try to talk up other potential candidates all they want, and try to convince themselves and others that they'd work out, but the only one who's truly worth a damn when it comes to revitalizing this program and providing the healing that is desperately needed, is Scott Frost. If we don't get him, I just see this program spiraling down to a level of permanent mediocrity that we'll never recover from.

Hedley said Frost will be announced Dec. 3 or 4 if I recall correctly. If it goes past that, I'm gonna be extremely concerned.

Sorry guys, we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one. I just don't see it.

From what I understand Riley was originally supposed to be relieved of his duties on Friday, but they decided to push it back to Saturday, as the higher-ups felt that Friday should be all about the seniors.

Campbell reminds me too much of Riley -- doing well at a school with limited resources, and the whole "just imagine what he could do with our resources!" spiel. Thanks but no thanks.

Heck, how many times was Michigan told that Harbaugh wasn't interested? They refused to give up, and eventually convinced him. Florida is going to try to do the same thing... they'll fail, though. I still think they'll end up with Charlie Strong. I think they're hoping that USF beats UCF so they can try to hype it up to their fans that Strong is better than Frost.

I'm certain that we will match or exceed anything that Florida offers. Money will not be an issue.

I sure do hope that Moos and Frost have a deal in place already... that said, I have faith in Moos (and Hedley)
