  1. Pitiful start. Anyone who thought this game would be an easy one was fooling himself
  2. It's been this way for morning kickoffs for years. Maybe we need to partner up with Monster or Bang or something.
  3. I'm telling ya, this team just plays different at night. For morning kickoffs, they always look half-asleep.
  4. Just praying that they come out with the same intensity as they have the past couple weeks... I've noticed in the past that they sometimes look sedated for early kickoffs.
  5. Well, one thing I know for certain is that there will be a lot of LSU players in the portal after this season... hopefully Frost & Co. can snatch some of them up. Unless he runs the table, Orgeron is gone.
  6. Can never have too much talent, nor can you ever have too many top-tier recruiters. Just look what has happened to B1G teams in the playoff when they've faced the true big boys. Remember when Michigan State got blown off the grid by Alabama?
  7. Yeah, a lot of people are giving Joe Burrow & Joe Brady the credit for the NC.
  8. Perhaps, but he's been pretty successful everywhere he's been, and he remains a hot commodity... plus I remember his tweet a few years back
  9. I would. Not sure what the chances are that he’d actually come here, but he might see the B1G as an easier route to the playoff than the SEC, plus he’s a proven recruiter and he knows what it takes to beat the SEC teams.
  10. Wouldn't surprise me to see some lower-level teams coming after Chin this season with HC offers. Some interesting choices in the list of who LSU fans would like to see as their next HC
  11. Coach O's days are numbered in Baton Rouge. I know when Riley took over, Orgeron mentioned that he'd be interested in coaching the D-line, but Riley already had his own names in mind, and brushed him off. I'd personally love to see him brought in to help with recruiting, since he's one of the best in the nation. He's less than 2 years off winning a national championship, plus deep roots in Louisiana, one of the most talent-rich states. Not sure what all is involved after LSU pays his buyout, etc...
  12. If we lose to Minnesota or Purdue, none of these close losses and progress we've shown will matter. We must beat them both.
  13. We won't be in the conference championship, but it sure would be nice to beat Iowa, especially if they're still undefeated.
  14. From this point forward we've gotta play like a team on a mission. Gotta win the next two, no ifs, ands, or buts. We can't afford a letdown. If we win those two, I have confidence that we will win at least one of the last three and will go bowling, with a lot of confidence and buzz going into next year.
  15. Next week will be telling. A game like today's can be emotionally draining. Minnesota on the road will be tough. Looking forward to seeing if we bounce back, or if it's just another disappointment.
  16. No room for error now. If we drop one to Minnesota or Purdue, the bowl door closes and it's just another disappointing, underachieving season.
  17. I hate when fans say this. Just stop. Criticism is to be expected. It doesn't make the person any less of a fan. Not everyone is going to view things or react the exact same way.
  18. Oh how I would love to see this team finally get over the hump and beat Iowa the final game of the season.
  19. I think next year will be Frost's final chance to show he can win some of the big ones. Yes the progress is clear, but none of that matters if you can't win against quality opposition. We have two must-win games in the coming weeks. We can't afford a letdown against either. This team can still win 6 (or even 7) games if it plays the way it's capable of playing.
  20. I have a bigger problem with the 4th down throw. Instead of targeting a guy running a clear route, he pretty much just threw it up for grabs and hoped for the best.
