  1. Starting to see where the "incredible harm" may come into play.
  2. "Meeting with regents" is clearly code for voting on a football season.
  3. This seems to line up with what Sip said earlier about 7 teams being in and they need 9. This needs to get leaked so fan bases and donors can put some pressure on the 9 who aren't in, ha.
  4. Yup that's what he said too and they only have 7 at the moment. tOSU is leading the charge now, but there is question if they can get to 9.
  5. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/there-is-supposedly-re-vote-today-for-big-ten-presidents/id1114569714 Sip heard there is 7 schools in favor and they need 9. He also heard that they will actually be voting Monday.
  6. Yup and no one seems to be backing off their reporting either way. That's why I think it's so interesting that Dan Patrick said all the people who usually are sources or made available aren't talking right now. Regardless of what they are trying to do they are trying to keep it quiet and it's making the reports inconsistent.
  7. I thought it was interesting that Dan Patrick said all his usual sources are not saying anything on this. No idea if that's good or bad, but I don't imagine the ADs or President's are going to come out and say oh ya we're meeting/voting/etc. That'd be like Moos confirming he talked to Frost during the season when he was hired. It doesn't mean anything is happening either, but I don't think them denying it can be taken for much they'd deny it either way.
  8. Don't think I saw this posted yesterday and Dan Patrick is obviously more legit than Yacht. Pretty good recap and something could happen today or tomorrow and they are working hard to keep it hush hush.
  9. Yup ha this test they have now they can do in the locker room with results in 15 minutes. The B1G is probably scrambling to keep up.
  10. If the PAC12 comes back the B1G has to or they'll be a total laughingstock. I wouldn't be surprised to see some of the Group 5 coming back sooner than expected. It seems like more places are starting sports back up than restricting them.
  11. Haha, couldn't have done that better if we planned it!
  12. The sample size here seems to be pretty important. I mean if 10 kids were given MRIs and 3 had myocarditis there's your 30%, but that's not exactly a great sample size to draw this conclusion from not to mention everything else you're asking.
  13. Also, Yacht disagrees. I mean who are we really going to trust here.
  14. At this point, I think both sides of the play now, don't play argument are just feeding info correct or not to their contacts in order to push their narrative.
  15. Looks like helmets and shoulder pads at least. I really want to watch Wandale play, he's insane.
  16. Ya 30-35% of people vs. other reports of small to nonexistent cases is a pretty drastic difference.
  17. Curious if that article gets changed based on the FootballScoop report there. However, if you are able to conduct enough testing that you can ensure infected athletes are not competing in games or practice (theoretically what the rapid tests allow and is what the B1G is trying to do) then you can be certain that football isn't the cause and they are contracting it elsewhere as they otherwise would. At least that'd be the argument.
  18. I think ultimately with contact tracing you'd tie a large number of cases elsewhere back to the high school teams. So, we may just not know yet, but being weeks into seasons and no outbreaks tied to them is encouraging.
  19. My town has had all athletic practices for several weeks and games started over a week ago and no cases tied to sports so far. Some towns around us have had cases, but not tied to competition instead from other activities or school in general. These kids aren't being tested or monitored at all, so it seems ok so far. Things could obviously change, but based on what I've seen things are going pretty well.
  20. I don't know if there is some big conspiracy to this and it's probably just to save face, but the B1G is going to an awful lot of trouble to keep their original decision process from becoming public.
  21. This pandemic has really caused some people I liked like Larry to just sort of lose it and get crazy conspiracy on stuff.
  22. This is really starting to feel like a coaching search. Should we start tracking Zoom meetings or flights or something?
