I really don't understand this whole hurricane thing. I think whether it defines him for life will be up to him. Not me. If he makes better choices in life and takes advantage of the opportunity he has to better himself, it's likely no one thinks much about this in 15 years or whatever, assuming he's not actually convicted. But for now, he has to wear it. With regards to the other part, I can't say I'm in line with the CA law. I would hate to see that happen to him.

I'm only talking about what he did. The undisputed act of him sending her the video with the intent to get back at her. I don't need a judges ruling on child porn, revenge porn or anything else to tell me that what he did was morally bad. Bad for a teenager, adult, anyone. Does that make sense? He made a crappy life choice and harmed another person with that choice. The legal side is a whole other discussion.

So you base your personal opinion of how you feel about what someone did solely based on what the law decides? talk about absurd. Whatever the legal end result is of this issue doesn't erase what he did to the girl. That is the awful part. If he's found not guilty of child porn distribution based on technicalities or a plea or whatever doesn't take away the fact he sent that girl the video with intent to harm her. That act does not go away.

Wrong leans more towards a legal term. I used bad, awful, bad character. You can't seem to do that. You wrote it off as him just being a teenager.

I've been a Catholic for quite a while now. I've attended many masses in many churches. I have witnessed 1 priest give a homily in which he tried to direct people how to vote. He went on and on about abortion and gay marriage. He's now in prison for child molestation.

It's not a false dichotomy. Either you think what he did was bad or you don't. There is nothing else there. The manner, degree, and timing of any consequences or not is a totally separate argument.

The bad guy is Maurice Washington. Regardless of what the final agreement between lawyers is, he still did a terrible thing. Why do you need the law to direct you to forming an opinion of what he did was awful?

Why don't you just say you have no problem with Washington did? It seems you want to.

I don't really care what happens to him. If he stays on the team, fine. If Frost boots him, fine. My opinion of his character today isn't going to change. He still has an opportunity to change his life and do better. Based on getting caught with weed, regardless of the charges being dropped, shows me he's not yet ready to make good choices.

I have learned that when someone spouts things they believe as fact and then are asked to back them up, and they tell YOU to go do your own research, it tends to not favor their original point.

No to derail this riveting topic but I always find it interesting when people make comments like this. Did you have a problem with iphones at some point? Or what is your issue with them? I've had one for close to 10 years. No issue. Same goes with cell phone companies. Some people absolutely hate Sprint. I've been with Sprint for almost 20 years. No issues.
