  1. The name of the coach is Frank McManus. Anyone know if he has some ties to Nebraska? Seems like an odd, but awesome, choice of head wear if you're not connected in some way. https://www.materdeifootball.net/coaches/frank-mcmanus/
  2. “I’m hoping the Big Ten is going to have to modify their system to us,” https://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/12/03/scott-frost-im-hoping-the-big-ten-has-to-modify-their-system-for-us/ “Iowa’s a bigger, stronger football team,” Frost said. “That’s right now. I never thought I’d see or hear that or say that about a Nebraska football team. That we can fix. We can get bigger, we can get stronger.” https://www.omaha.com/huskers/blogs/scott-frost-says-huskers-had-fight-but-iowa-was-the/article_4aed3e40-d746-5279-b952-8f1876099e6c.html I was more confused that you said you think it took him that long to realize he wasn't going to score that much versus B1G defenses. He had to have known from day 1 that the first season was going to need work.
  3. I'm not sure it's necessary. I don't believe that Frost took what he did at UCF in the AAC and immediately thought he could duplicate the same scoring explosion in year one at Nebraska in the B1G with a depleted roster and then was caught off guard 3/4 of the way into the season when it didn't work.
  4. I'm not sure where you're headed with that but I was just trying to understand your comment about scoring points.
  5. You think it took Scott frost 9 games to figure out he couldn't score 50+ points per game in conference?
  6. 11am or 7pm games are my favorite. That way I get the rest of my day to do whatever I want and be feral
  7. You should probably release that family now.
  8. Maybe post a link to where you are getting your spreads. For continuity purposes.
  9. What a luxury it must be to be able to tell a 4 star player from your home state that you are no longer accepting his commitment because you found someone better. Hypothetically speaking, of course.
  10. I edited my original post. I mistakenly had the under of 2.5 TD passes for Martinez. I think he will have 3
  11. Not at all. I think they will keep it mostly on the ground. And they'll spread the ball around to the WR's.
  12. Martinez: Over on the passing yards, but it won't be by a lot Under on the completions Over on TD passes Under on rushing yards Over on longest rush Mills: Over on total rushing yards Over on longest rush Spielman: Over on total receiving yards Over on total receptions Noa: Under on total receiving yards Over on receptions Robinson: Under on total receiving yards Over on receptions
  13. No doubt Nick Saban will tell him he should go to Nebraska if he were his son.
  14. I understand that. I was a bit confused about Mavric's comment about it being tough for a guy that big.
  15. I hope this isn't the case. Neal is listed at 6-7 and we just recruited a DE at 6-6 and 3 OL that are listed at 6-7, 6-7, and 6-9 I'm sure it was more of a not finding his way in a different defense
  16. I get that, but after 5 years in the program, one would hope that they would find their way. Same with Anderson and Lee.
  17. Speaking of defensive linemen. Remember when Riley was in a "battle" with Harbaugh to get a commitment from Daishon Neal? He's now a senior and still not listed on the depth chart.
  18. If no one transfers after this season, there will be at least 14 defensive linemen returning for next season between scholarships and walk ons
