He had to have known from day 1 that the first season was going to need work.

I'm not sure it's necessary. I don't believe that Frost took what he did at UCF in the AAC and immediately thought he could duplicate the same scoring explosion in year one at Nebraska in the B1G with a depleted roster and then was caught off guard 3/4 of the way into the season when it didn't work.

I'm not sure where you're headed with that but I was just trying to understand your comment about scoring points.

Speaking of defensive linemen. Remember when Riley was in a "battle" with Harbaugh to get a commitment from Daishon Neal? He's now a senior and still not listed on the depth chart.
