While you didnt mean it literally, Adrian does run the offense. Lets look at this in a simple way, comparing the 2. Adrian: Pros; -good athlete, big body can take contact -has a talented arm -Calm demeanor Cons; -Doesnt see the field -Bad decision maker -Both his "pro's" are negated by the fact 1-doesnt put it all on the line , and 2- whats a talented arm worth if you arent accurate and cant see the field. Luke: Pro's: -Fast -Out competes anyone -Brings an energy and a toughness that radiates to the whole team -Lays it all out there like a man possessed Cons: -Learning the position still (lack of experience) -Small body, can he take a beating? -Lots of unknowns about his passing ability and field reading ability The thing is with Luke, his unknowns are already established weaknesses of Martinez. So even IF he isnt a great passer or field reader, its still a wash. The difference between the 2 is he is faster and a more fierce, determined baller. The ONLY thing Adrian has over Luke is his body can take more hits...at least we assume that based on their size, but size is overrated. Their are skinny kids who have extremely resilient bodies, just not a lot of mass. So that is kind of an unknown. What it comes down to is will Frost make the right decision. If Adrian is our QB nothing will change. I believe that if Luke is our QB we grow leaps and bounds next year offensively, and have a tough, passionate attitude leading the offense which will permeate throughout the whole offense. And while their will still be mistakes made, we can be proud and excited about our team Edit: I think if we played Luke all game against Iowa, or even just from the time he threw the TD onward, we win that game and bring an excitement back to Nebraska. We would all be looking foreard to how much passion and speed and hiw exciting our offense will be next year with Luke leading the charge. Instead this whole state is dissapointed we threw a game away against our rival, missed a bowl, and more than anything we are getting apathetic thinking about how we will suck again next year cause we all know deep down that we will never be a winning team with Adrian back their, and their isnt that much passion either.

Good news is our O line has improved, and next year should be really good. I just think if Frost called more power runs, and had Luke back their we win. We ran it ok when we ran a simple power play. Our problems came from all the screen passes and sweep runs. Will Frost learn? We arent a great offensive line right now, but a good coach puts more than 17 on Iowa with what we have NOW. And specifically not scoring a single point in the 4Q, or even getting a first down for a whole Quarter. Maybe im forgetting one, but i dont recall 1 first down in the 4th.

I hear you, but in a 3-4 pressure comes from the LBs. I agree our LBs are a problem. We will miss this DLine. Daniels was a stud. Plus the way we play, our defense is gonna give up a few points. They are supposed to create turnovers and get the ball back to our offense. They created 2 turnovers (scored 7 points on one) and a huge fumble that should have atleast sent the game to OT. Our defense only gave up 17 points. And they scored 7. For a net 10 points! Thats stout Defense. Our offense not getting a first down in 15 plays in a row is pathetic, and lost the game for us. This isnt about your comment, but the posters that say "fire Chin" or "our defense sucks", are the same ones who never say s#!t about frost or his s#!tty a$$ decisions on play calling or his QB. This season our D played as good as we expected. Our offense s#!t the bed, and its cause of 2 major problems; Frost playcalling, and his choice of QB. It all comes down to Frost. Yet he blames it on his players, which is another reason this is on Frost. I think Husker football will live or die with Frost, and it really is (at this point) our only play. But Frost had a s#!tty year. HE is the reason we finish 5-7 and dont make a bowl. Its not AM'S fault that Frost keeps putting him in, its not our offense fault that he doesnt give the ball to, or call the plays that give you the best chance to win. When tv announcers know more about what you should do then the coaches its a sad reality. That said the announcers were great, i agreed with almost everything they said, maybe we should hire them to coach our team?

Much of your post makes sense, but our D line is good. Actually its our best position group on our whole team. Do you realize if our offense did ANYTHING in the 4Q we win?

By certain people i hope you mean the QB's feelings, and not Chin. Cause Chin is doing alright. We had the game if our offense does anything in the 4th. 7 points and a fumble recovery by our D is pretty good...

Exactly. Which is why this is Frosts fault. He has plenty of pieces, he just cant call a game. Thanks for pointing that out.

Seriously. Our best offensive possession was the one and only time Luke was QB. The other times we scored had nothing to do with AM, but had everything to do with taking the ball out of his hands by handing it off.

Ive never been more pissed at Frost , trust me im not even drunk yet. I am this close to being done with him. I was as excited for Frost as anyone, ive stuck by him through all last year, and this year, up to this point. He showed me his true colors by playing AM over Luke tonight. I know Frost loves Nebraska, but he must have sold his soul to AM or made him a promise he shouldnt have. It kills me to lose such a HUGE game, NOT because our players didnt fight, NOT because we didnt have all the momentum in the world, NOT because breaks didnt go our way (WE HAD ALL THE BREAKS). NOT because you lack talent, but because of your decisions. Regardless of the whole Martinez starting thing (which is bs), he threw 100 screen passes and called a terrible game offensively. If it wasnt for our stout Defense we get blown out. I have never been more sure that i am right , Frost lost us this game, and easier said in hindsight, but i bet you he cost us more than just this one. The truth was just exposed today....2 things Frost playcalling, and his choice of QB, both are on him..but lets just fire Chin who has vastly improved our Defense.

One more thing. This is NOT ABOUT OUR PLAYERS! I couldnt be more proud of how we fought. This is about Frost and how he proved (TO ME ATLEAST) that despite your whole team playing with passion and laying it all out there, he will let them lose by refusing to play the best QB. Im NOT at all dissapointed in our players. So get up on the podium and give thanks to your players for giving it their all. And maybe dont blame them for the loss, and (granted unlikely) admit you cost them the game by leaving your best General on the bench.

Im just dying inside cause we all know we win with Luke. And moreso than that did you see the passion in that young kid!? He would run through a concrete wall for us! Luke wanted it, he is a competitor. He has what it takes..heart and soul. I think AM is a good kid, but he DOES NOT have the fire and passion of Luke. Doesnt take Einstein to figure that one out. I feel bad for the players. OUR DEFENSE PLAYED THEIR ASSES OFF! All these people saying fire Chinander cause they wanna deflect blame off of Frost. Please keep CHIN! he has drastically improved our defense. I know Frost is Jesus Incarnate around here , but he and his offense , particularly his play calling and choice of QB are killing our state. Sorry but i saw this coming from the Maryland game all the way to seeing Martinez start at QB, getting some hope when Luke was in for a series (he scored a TD of course) and then seeing AM back out there the next possession i was LIVID despite our amazing momentum at the time. Its Frosts fault for continuing to play Martinez, when we have 2 solid QBs behind him. Your right much of it is on Martinez, but thats Frosts fault at this point. Also Frosts fault for all the dumb screens against a defense thats not even blitzing.

He was Georgia player of the year. Iowa always has a good line, they are getting some really good skill players now also. Iowa is going up, while we are going down as respective programs. Its dissapointing...who would have thought we would fall so far.

Sadly, i agree Frost isnt learning. Like someone else said, our defense is outscoring our offense...yet we have all these fire Chin posters, but Frost always gets a pass....

Martinez should have 2 or 3 picks by now..and he doesnt see open receivers, but u cant see that on TV. When do you realize that he didnt just have a bad game, but rather this is who he is as a QB? After 3 games? After 6? How bout after 10?

Iowa isnt even running the type of defense screens work against..yet screen screen screen. Yea i bet the screens work well in practice cause our defense is what u run screens against.
