  1. ………As President I said so. We can give you even more Visibility on one the other upcoming 35 LGBTQIA days if you feel slighted” No reason to try and get bonus points because I already aced the quiz and I never claimed Jesus would. Well, I wouldn’t feel the need to explain anything to them as there are already many, many, many days on the calendar that carve them out for recognition. I would also maybe laugh at them for thinking it was because I was “afraid of Christians”. Then I would go call their attempt at mocking as “rage farming” It’s a shame those days didn’t get their due as they only get 1 a year
  2. I’m not prepared to go that far, as I haven’t studied each President in detail, however many are not without sin for sure. But let’s rage farm (not you) about Israel defending themselves from constant attacks, of which those attacks by Hamas will inevitably lead to innocent lives lost directly or from Israeli counter attacks.
  3. The only way to eat shrimp and grits is to eat the shrimp and throw out the grits or give it to a dog. Shrimp is good though. By itself, in a Boil, or with pasta.
  4. Wait till the poster understands how many innocents Obama blew to pieces with drones.
  5. Again, you fail to understand what’s being said Not sure what you mean by MAGA as I’m the one posting, however, the rage farm certainly can be applied both ways as you and others “rage” against a simple suggestion being made. Just an FYI, the day was “created” by some activist in Michigan. That would be Michigan if the good ol USofA. This isn’t as International as you would love it to be. Not really some large international organization deciding this.
  6. He can arbitrarily Proclaim it acknowledge it a different day, for a once in a generation event convergence of events. Really not very hard to understand this. He’s doing the Proclamation.
  7. I’m sure it’s not very cheap. I think some of these progressive cities and or States are finding out what the southern areas have been battling for quite some time now and are finding out it’s not quite so easy to handle to situation. Most of the migrants are good people and want to work hard and the we could use more labor, but it has to be done in a controlled manner that doesn’t hammer the system too much/too often (I know you aren’t disputing any of that in your post, I was just getting it out there). The progressives that talk about how we need to take care of everyone, everyone should be allowed in whenever they get here, don’t fully grasp the logistics and cost until they see the pain for themselves. As you stated above, that seems to be happening a bit in the Denver area.
  8. I guess I’ll be the one to ask the question that everyone wants to know……Are the sister hot?
  9. Hmmmmm……not very sanctuary city’ish of them.
  10. for #1) this kinda is how I view it too. For #2) he coulda maybe possibly just took ownership of it instead of denying it. He coulda also said “hey, in honor of the upcoming Easter Holiday, we are gonna proclaim this day on Saturday this year while also remembering the 25 other days of remembrance coming up later in the year. For #3) if we are gonna make a funny, then It’s not very inclusive of him to deny a press release about all the other days of remembrance if we are going for inclusiveness.
  11. Never been on truth social and probably never will. That said, Twitter operated with a substantial loss into the billion dollar range so saying a start up social messaging company won’t be profitable for awhile isn’t really saying anything too outlandish. And no I won’t be buying DJT stock anytime soon.
  12. I guess “we know why” you would back provide this excellent source of information to provide context into the other post you thoughtfully shared. good stuff and I learned a bit from the article. Thanks.
  13. It only took me 5 minutes to read the article and find these nuggets. For this reason, the household survey reports higher employment levels than the payroll survey. As of this January, the household survey estimated that 161.1 million Americans were employed; the payroll survey estimated 157.7 million The household survey, however, tells a different story. The chart below depicts month-to-month estimates of total U.S. employment based on surveys of consumers and employees. According to that survey, employment actually fell by 31,000 workers from December to January, and by some 700,000 over the two-month period from November to January, compared to the 353,000 and the 686,000 increases respectively reported in the payroll survey. That adds up to a difference between the two surveys of some 1.4 million jobs between November and January. Over the past year, the household survey reported that the economy added 1 million new jobs—2 million fewer than the payroll survey’s estimate. According to these estimates, full-time employment fell by some 1.6 million workers from December to January, compared with the 353,000–job increase reported in the payroll survey. Between July 2022 and January 2024, the economy added just 600,000 new full-time jobs, or 33,000 per month, compared with the payroll survey’s 5 million–job expansion estimate for the same period. The gap between the payroll survey’s employment estimates and household survey’s full-time employment estimates are largely explained, of course, by part-time workers. The household survey estimated 100,000 new part-time jobs in January and an impressive 900,000 new part-time jobs between November through January. Therefore, according to the household survey, the increase in total employment over this period was due to increases in the number of part-time employees. Over the full year, from January to January, part-time employment grew by 600,000—about 60 percent of all job gains made during the course of the year.
  14. Great job politicians of all stripes! And people to this day still don’t think the national debt is a problem
  15. Speaking of that! Maybe we should start picking out a day soon.
  16. I mean they did hire Jen Psaki. So there’s that.
  17. Mine was a prescription pack. Powder form mixes with propel. Not over 50 though
  18. Is it inclusive if you really think about it? It’s celebrating one single group of people. It’s excluding everyone else for celebratory greetings.
  19. He did choose it. He very could have changed it for a single year and CHOSE to celebrate it a day early or a day later. And did we really need another day for it anyways?
