wandale is 5'9'' 175 pounds. He is small. Smith is biggeer, faster, better, much larger catch radius and I can keep going on. We need bigger bodied WRs, and they are recruiting them, that have a bigger catch radius, with good speed, that can win the catches down the field. You have already seen the results of the dink and dunk passes to a shiffty short WR does for the win column. It doesn't win you games.

Wandale's dad was trying to get him pulled out of Nebraska last year too. He never wanted him here and was always tweet, liking stupid negative s#!t on Twitter about Nebraska. The "I want to run a speific route for the NFL" is dumb too. You don't need to run a specific route or two in college for the NFL to know what you can do and can't do. Wouldn't shock me if Wandale has a similar path as JD - think the grass is greener elsewhere and ends up on not having the type of season that he wanted that he would have had by staying pat and going out and working.

Frost has been recruiting "Quincy" types the last class and current class. Even the new incoming transfer is 6'3''. There are 4 incoming WR's and all are 6'2'' or taller.

He was mostly good for short catches in space. that is NEVER going to beat Ohio state. The play that Betts had against Penn state is the electric athletic ability that can win you games against Ohio State. Look back at every win against PSU and OSU while Nebraska has been in the Big Ten....zero Wandale types were on the WR unit playing in those games. People overrate Wandale. He is good but not a special talent. Betts is a special talent.

Stepp followed the new WR commit/transfer on twitter. That is a positive sign. If wasn't interested he wouldn't care. He is the one I am referring to. get him and the offense, and the hawaii kid, is looking a hell of a lot better than it was at this time a year ago.

Luke McCaffrey will exit stage right. Wants to be a QB. Staff wants him to move to WR. He wants QB. Best to go separate ways then. Transfer incoming that will be a positive for the offense.

So what. He has legit production in college games. Would be the best incoming transfer, on paper, at a skill spot in such a long time that I couldn't even name the last incoming transfer with this level of production in the college game.

7 players had more yards per catch than Wandale did from the LOS for the 2020 season....TE's, RB's, and WR's. Three players had more yards per rush than Wandale. Wandale wasn't bad, he is a good player, but at the same time people are making him out to be a super star when he isn't. I"m willing to put money on the table that Nixon will have a better career than Wandale has had so far.

Go look at the starting lineups at WR for the last 10 national championship teams. That will tell you the story.
