On3 take on if Nebraska can flip Raiola.

Well the rumors started the moment Etienne posted on his Instagram a picture of Chief Borders.

If he did show up for his visit today like it was reported then hopefully it's going well. He is one of the pieces to the puzzle to having a successful offense next season.

That's true but your talking about 2 totally different type of qb's. Nebraska has never given up on trying to get Raiola while can't say the same for Kaelin once he committed here. Figured once Kaelin committed here teams that were recruiting him moved on and stopped recruiting him bc he isn't a high profile qb.

I meant those teams could potentially still add him now with everything that is going on???

He has been the offense coordinator at UNLV and Arizona State. I wonder how good his offensives have been. I know he wouldn't take over the role from Satterfield but he could potentially down the road.

Have him go shopping this late?? Most teams already have their qb bc it's so close to the early signing period. Not saying it's impossible but definitely hard to try to go and find another team to play for.

I just think that the fan base needs to temper down the expectation of that. There is already enough pressure to live up to his dad's legacy here and if he doesn't win a National Championship here then it shouldn't be all on him just like the Kyle McCord situation at Ohio State. If he does sign here then hopefully the fan base doesn't drive him out of the program bc of the pressure to succeed that's all. We all want to succeed but it takes a team effort and not just one individual.

Well his Uncle never played here but we all get your point. That's a real possibility that what you said is true and just that he finally realized it.

He is too high of a caliber player just to cut him loose.

I don't think we have a strong group of running backs. You can't look at our running back group and say yup there is one guy that stands out above the rest. I do get your point with bringing in more o-lineman but since our running backs have gotten hurt maybe the coaches want one guy to be the guy and not to just have a runningback by committee thing. Either way I would take Etienne in a heartbeat as well. Proven back who has played in big time games and is from the SEC.

Yeah it's not like Georgia would be hurting if DR didn't go there. There are some fans down there that actually think Puglisi is a better fit.

In this day and age it's rare that a qb plays a whole season without getting injured so maybe he could see the field faster.

If Raiola comes here I really hope that Husker Nation doesn't have Championship or bust mentality.
