  1. I know we are qb shopping but technically Jeff Sims is still with Nebraska. It was reported yesterday that he was going to hit the portal but he hasn't yet. Maybe he is having second thoughts. Wonder what is the hold up that's all?
  2. Yeah unfortunately I don't believe that Fred Hoiberg will be around much longer other then this season which sucks. We all knew it was going to be hard to turn the basketball program around but a lot of people believed that Fred could do it bc of his success at Iowa State. It just hasn't happened. I don't who Nebraska can find to put some excitement back into the basketball program but looking forward to change.
  3. Hopefully the process of gaining a transfer portal qb doesn't take long. Does anybody know if their is a deadline or cutoff date? You would think transfer qb's would want to commit right away so they can get enrolled but I don't know if the process is the same for graduate transfers.
  4. https://www.on3.com/transfer-portal/news/transfer-portal-quarterback-predictions-via-jd-pickell-dante-moore-dillon-gabriel-dj-uiagalelei-cam-ward/ JD Pickell transfer portal predictions. Guess what his prediction was for Nebraska to land??? No one smh https://twitter.com/on3sports/status/1732547356598427697/photo/1
  5. https://fansided.com/posts/kyle-mccord-transfer-portal-rumors-5-best-destinations-for-ohio-state-qb-01hh04m2epe7 If you read the article your going to laugh of the name they gave our defensive coordinator. I can tell you it's not Tony White that's for sure
  6. Carter Nelson I presume. Im hoping that out of all the qb's we visited eventually one comes from that and not out of left field or that is inexperienced. We need a qb that can take us to the promise land of going Bowling.
  7. I think Nebraska is probably going to go with whatever they can get. Me personally I would like to see a drop back traditional passing qb then a dual-threat qb. Yes everyone is going to bring up Tanner Lee and how bad he did here but I wouldn't even compare McCord skills with his. 2 very different qb's even though you would consider them both statue qb's. If they are going to go with a dual threat qb plan on him probably not playing all season. I can't remember who was the last qb to play a full season that didn't get hurt here.
  8. Going up against 2 of the Big 10 powerhouses for him, Michigan and Penn State. Said he wants to visit Michigan. All I have to say on that is screw Michigan.
  9. Washington State tends to pass a lot more then run the ball. It's been that way since Ryan Leaf was there. I don't consider Ward being their whole offense.
  10. Ward wasn't asked to be the whole offense at Washington State. While his 11 fumbles are alarming his overall stats are good while McCord isn't a runner and more of a pocket passer. It just really depends on what route HC Matt Rhule wants to go. Having a dual threat qb or having a drop back passer. Just your own personal preference.

  12. I think it really depends on how the qb is getting used. At Kansas State Adrian wasn't asked to be the whole offense like he was asked at Nebraska.
  13. Is it really hard to say Adrian wasn't that good???
  14. He split duties with Howard. Your stats don't tell the whole story only partial.
  15. Or the fact Martinez got hurt and didn't play as much for K-State.
  16. Son I love you but your just not good enough to start. You can be on the team though if you like.
  17. Cameron Ward highlights vs Kyle McCord highlights
  18. I tend to think that Adrian had the better potential but Joe Ganz played better and had more team success bc of him. You could make the discussion that Joe Ganz could be the number 2.
  19. Football is a team driving sport but ultimately wins and losses are dependent on how your qb does on the football field. Bc of Nebraska's lack of team success over the last 15 years who is Nebraska's best qb that we have had after Taylor?
  20. Im interested in a qb that has more td passes then interceptions. Yeah his fumbles will need to be cleaned up and worked on but I'm definitely interested in what Cameron Ward brings to the table. Im also interested in Kyle McCord bc of what type of qb he is. 2 different qb's that could help change the program to where we are sitting at to where we want to go Bowling!!!!
  21. Well if it makes anyone feel better Cameron Ward had prior interest in coming here so take it for what it's worth. I for sure thought he be headed to Oregon bc of news reports saying he committed there but false reporting. Third best qb transfer in the portal.
  22. Yeah, I just don't think that Sins has the poise and accuracy to be a qb. He is fast and can use his legs.
