  1. Rex is ready to play. Rex had 160 plus rushing yards againist Trinity last year in the playoffs. If Plano had a defense, they would have won that game. Think he caught 50 yards worth of balls that game to and threw a pass. Trinity was the #5 team in the NATION at that time. He is a gamer, thats for sure. Learning how to take contact will be an issue. He got blowen up by some D-1 prospects/guys in high school. Dont shoot me, just saying what I know and I hate kool aid.
  2. People are always nice to me in Iowa. I really like going to Ames. The fans are cool and the people are nice.At the game I went to the lady next to me chatted me up like she had knowen me since I was a kid. I was in the second row and the cheerleaders gave me a hard time and I even got on TV!! It was a blast!
  3. I was also wondering. 27 sounds great, but I want proof.
  4. Who really cares about BC recruits who decommitted. They committed to BC and stafff and never really committed to the State of Nebraska as a whole. The kids that have hung in there during the coaching change and stayed with NU committed to the state. Guys like Whitmore,Levorson(who I think will be great) will be my favorites in this class. According to what I read, Look for a few more kids out of TX to sign up. Whaley, is a shoe in, and others are at 70% right now. Dont worry guys, things will pan out. This is a Blue collar staff that will work their butt off. It fits the state really well.
  5. I'm N for the players. The coaches can go OUT as far as I'm concerned. They blow. Get rid of Callahan anf Cosgrove.
  6. 8-4 is dreaming, but what the hell. Back to the Alamo!! Wishful thinking,I know.
  7. Wow dude. I must have been watchin a diffirent Husker team then you have the last three weeks.
  8. I think we can stop the ship from fully going under this year.I start with off-season plans.Coz has to go at the end of the season. Hire some young hot shot LB coach in the NFL.What he can do now is sit Wagner down and tell him to get his ducks in a row. Bench Lucky on 1st and 2nd down. I love lucky and all but he runs like a pu$$y.Play the future in Castle. Let Bowman get 100% before you put him back on the field and play some freshman CB. HELL CALL up Monte Kiffen and ask for some schemes on the offense we are about to play. If I'm the coach at NU I would do whatever it takes and I wouldn't be to proud to ask for some help outside the program. I think this team lacks heart. No Taylors or Ragoni's (sp) GO HUSKERS,GOD HELP US WITH A FUMBLE OR TWO THIS WEEK.
  9. the D only gave up 305 yard verses OU, that aint half bad. I would take that for a average every game. The days of giving up 250 a game are over. Mcbride is gone, so is the ballsy blitzing.
  10. If he could be even Bobby Newcombe like in the WCO, that would be great. Tressel threw him a free ride at him so you know he has to be good. I don't know why he picked The Big Red, but I hope it sticks
  11. He'll be here for spring? Thats aways a big plus.It will be interesting to see which of our younger LB's will shine first.
  12. I'm going to stay out of this, but the D does seem to play decent to good in big games.Auburn,OU,etc.
  13. Sounds like the next Ted Ginn!! God, we could only hope!!! Been along time since we had a good wide out and kick returner combo
  14. I think Rippy will be a good player. He won't be fightin for playing time right anyway. Good speed and it looks like he doesn't have to put on to much weight at 217. Hope he is a nasty player with lots of attitude. Best you can hope for in a LB
  15. I want to know why we are doing so good in big 10 county? Its got to be beacause of Rudolph. Rippy,Woods and a 50/50 chance on Grey. I JUST HOPE ONE OF OUR NEW YOUNG WR"S CAN STEP UP AND BE A PLAYMAKER LIKE MO.Go Big Red!!
  16. My dad and I go to a game every year and I just started shopping.Let me know what you have.Seating doesn't matter. I have to go once a year to get the blood pumping.
  17. Whats wrong with Marlon Lucky? Hes a solid player that improves every year and split time last year with an NFL back. I see Gabbert starting as a fifth year senior.Witt/Lee will have the job is the mean time. I wacthed Gabberts videos and I wasn't impressed at all. Witts looked one hell of alot better playing on a $hitty football team in Texas.I guess all of you forgot what the Aurburn coaches said about Witt."That kids going to be a freshman? Wow"I from Holdrege Ne so don't accuss me of being from Witts hometown or anything.
  18. We to get a blanket in the KC area. Put up a sign right before you get to KC that says "Welcome to Husker Country." That would be nice, hope this kid comes.Sounds like a good one
  19. Thanks, I was in a hurry and didn't look at the other topic. Still a newbie!!
  20. Going to my first road game next weekend and was just wondering the good place to hang out at before the game.Have a place to stay already so I'm not worried about that. Thanks GO BIG RED!!
  21. Our offense and defense has been really PLAIN JANE in the first two games.Weather are not the USC coaching staff understand that will decide the out come of the game. I think we take the lead into halftime and hope Bill has a totally diffirent game plan for the second half.USC makes great adjustments at the half and the Big Red needs to counter those in the second half.I think its going to be a battle of the brains. The talent level is there for the Huskers, lets just hope they get it done.
  22. It would be cool to see the flim when he got his helmat ripped off!!
  23. I understand at this point in the season it hard to tell, but its fun thinking about it anyway.Whats the word on Wilson? Is he in Lincoln yet? Haven't heard anything about him, so he must not be. I did see his JUCO flim and all I can say is WOW! Lucky did SOME things well last year, but still needs some improvement. The one thing I like about him was that he almost always fell forward after contact.I think if he had better field vision that he would be the man.Needs to see those cut back lanes before they happen. Now for Baby Earl. Its 3rd and 1 or your on the goal line. Who coming into the game?Tuff kid, tuffer to bring down. Does he have what it takes to be the full-time starter? Now on to Leon Jackson. Didn't get to see him play RB last year so I have no idea what to expect. Guess I'll go to the spring game and find out. There is no front runner right now. If I had to say anything I might say we could be looking at a "we backs" system or "Thunder and lighting" throwing Baby Earl in the picture. What do you folks think or what have you heard?
