  1. Men, we can totally win this game. Just be like 80% run on offense and some killer play action passes. WE got it
  2. *sigh* If we are going to suck on the first series of every game, just start doing the easiest play possible to settle the boys down. IB dives. Do three in a row, that's all.
  3. Oh my god, my spelling is terrible in this thread. I can't seem to change the title to spell 'tonight' correctly. I'm spent after this game, friends. Forgive me
  4. Fixed a typo *ahem* But yes. I just think he had the chance to show he is a warrior today - and I've been down on him a lot last season. Credit where it's due.
  5. Need some sort of .......... food and stuff. I would totally hit a bar and get pizza and wings if I was in lincoln. WOOOO what a night!
  6. because this win showed we have courage, and even when the stupidest and most ridiculous things happen, we can pull out a win and get back on track. I think it will be a very useful win down the road. Yes there's work to do. But it will make the boys a little more into men, in terms of their stones.
  7. Definitely. I was feeling so embarrassed for all the recruits, for the first half. Hopefully they watched the second half.
  8. Yeah.................. IDK how to prepare for this, but, NU should try to 'practice' coming out to a big time game and acting with authority. There are so many nerves on the line that you just have to be ready for it and not do anything awkward. IDK how to practice for that, but it needs to happen. This game could easily have been won by two scores over WI, if not for boneheaded moves
  9. TMAGIC was a leader tongiht - my thoughts BAKER was awesome
  10. Game ball goes to the whole defense, but, this is the most offensive leadership I've seen from Taylor that I can remember. I don't know how much people are going to talk about it, but if you saw how he ran the ball, and made calls tonight - he chose a lot of the things that happened. I remember a play where WI showed a big blitz and he audibled out to run something like a zone read, but he knew he wanted to keep the ball because he knew what was happening on D, and ran it himself to get a big gain / first down. That was great to see, because that was mastery of the offense and knowing the defense. No, wasn't perfect all the time. But his leadership tonight deserves a big does of respect, I say. If I was playing with him, I'd think - damn, here is a guy who will never give up and is going to to take on that role "When the game is on the line, I want the ball in my hands". He did that tonight, to me. And that's what I like to see.
  11. Respect. Wish I had some cash money winnings
  12. Dude did you see him the last few pass plays? CRUMPLED, in pain. It's great.
