  1. OK, hear me out. I'm not standing up for Robinson in any way, I just wanted to throw some facts out here. This has been stated in other threads by BIGREDFANINOMAHA. Check out this LINK. Scenario, the coaches wanted Robinson to commit. They call him and say, "Hey, we're only taking 5 lineman, we've already gotten 3 committed, those last two spots are closing up fast." So he commits, not really fully sure that thats what he wanted, but not wanting to miss out on the opportunity to play for his favorite team. Wouldn't it piss you off if you were TR when July rolls around, they have 5 commits, and the coaches are actively pursuing other recruits? He may feel a little deceived. Now, I think the coaches are still pursuing other commits because Henery may not make it, but you've got to think the coaches are on the phone reassuring him of that. What do you all think? PS, I hate de-commits. There are 17 year olds committing themselves to go fight and die for this country every day, in other words I'm tired of hearing the, "this is the most important decision of their life" defense. OK my late night rant is officially over.
  2. He couldn't have made that catch, did he?
  3. Also, I've always taken the view of "soft" commits and de-commits, if they're not sure they want to come to Nebraska, I really don't think they should come.
  4. But there is a base. The base is that TR said his father may have set up visits without telling him. To me that shows that his father is interested in visiting other schools. Pretty simple. I'm not dogging on his father or anything, just going off of what I've read.
  5. But I would say at this point, NU 20 USC 28
  6. He's gone. That's just my gut feeling. I hope it's wrong.
  7. CFN= poopie. I never get anything out of the things I read there. I've stopped paying attention to them long ago.
  8. I honestly think the rumors about Nebraska going to the Big 11 are just that, rumors. I haven't heard anything from a reliable source on the subject, I think it's all just wild conjectures.
  9. Believe me, I will be there. I will be yelling my loudest the whole game no matter the score. I'm sure you've been to a game before, it's not 80,000 screaming 23 year olds like myself. There's probably at least 30,000 or more people there who are over 60. Not a knock on the older generation, I just don't see them going, "F**kin NUTS," especially if we get down early. It's just my opinion, I don't think it's a crazy one. I was there for the Texas game in 2002, I know how crazy it can get, but I've never been to a home game where we were down big, so I'm just trying to predict how the crowd might act.
  10. For most USC fans I would expect that, but not informed "Husker Fans". (For some people in this thread I use that term very loosly) You responded so fast I couldn't even get my edit in!
  11. Just to play devil's advocate here, let's say that the worst happens and USC scores 2 quick TD's in the first 5-10 minutes of the game. I hate to say it, but even though we are still in that game by all means, that would probably decimate the crowd, rendering our home field advantage useless until we started clawing back. In this game though, we can not afford to get behind and have the crowd taken out of it. Also another thing I was thinking as I've read people's responses, I can understand why USC fans are confident as this game to them probably looks A LOT like the Arkansas game of last year. Look at the results of that game. I don't think that will happen, but I'm just trying to taking their perspective.
  12. It's just to bad he was in the Navy... J/K
  13. All I know is I hope that USC is underestimating Nebraska as much as the fan that wrote the original post. And I can guarantee this will probably be the loudest crowd ever at Memorial Stadium. I for one will be there helping as much as I can.
  14. Only four votes for Ohio? I guess most of the Frank lovers have been banned by now.
  15. Sweet! Great PR piece too in the future.
  16. That sounds like a great idea. I don't think I would be able to contribute, but I'd probably use it a lot.
  17. Ya right.......even when we beat USC all they will talk about is how Booty had a bad game or some "lack of chemestry" with his wide outs or some crap like that. You're starting to sound like Andre Jones in 2006. That turned out great...
  18. I wonder if yahoo is going to make any changes at rivals...
  19. Oh yeah, I totally forgot that game was coming out. I'm debating on whether to even get it, it will burn up so much of my time if I do. I'm anxious to see how the new recruiting system works. I'll probably rent it first.
  20. Drive on man, you'll make it through this. And don't be ashamed to take the meds, I hope they help you out.
  21. If there were a time counter for how much time I spend on this board and not just a post counter, I would be very embarrassed. It's addictive as hell, I know a lot of you guys feel this way, (at least I hope I'm not the only one.) I'll be walking by my computer, knowing full well I have something better to do, but I'll just think, "I'd better check to see if we got another commitment," or something of the sort. I am such a loser. Oh well.
  22. Nah, I think a committee is made up of three or more backs that are going to share the main brunt of carries, like the beginning of last year. I think this year we will see more of a two-headed monster in Lucky and Glenn. Now if Glenn can't get over the injury bug, that's when I would expect to see Castille as I stated in the "player to watch out for" thread.
  23. To me besides Frazier, it looks like they based this list too much on what they did after college, maybe I'm wrong, I'm not an expert on any of these guys. JMO
