  1. You're right, but I think getting Willis at this point will be a small miracle. We can all (wet) dream, right? For sure! I'll get excited if we just make his top 3
  2. I agree. He was also a great WR in high school. However I don't see him playing WR with what we have coming in. He is being recruited as an ATH it will be interesting to see how he is used. Yeah, we're good at WR, but desperately need his athleticism on D, I have to think that's what the coaching staff has planned for him.
  3. Seams like we have options galore with Gerry, I'm very excited to get this type of athlete in here.

  5. You guys got me excited about Gerry, sounds like one fast white boy. Can't wait to get him in here and see what he can do.
  6. Great to have all this offensive talent committing to us and looking at us, says a lot about Beck's offense.
  7. This is the third time he's changed his mind so this saga might not be over yet.
  8. Kentucky did get some commitments this weekend, but I am not sure who they are yet. I'm tracking it closely as the day progresses. Boaz was not one of them, unless he's a silent commit.
  9. I'm smiling if you're smiling. Will our smile get bigger before signing day or will we have to wait till then?
  10. I pray we get him just cause I love his name.
  11. Braylon was moved back to RB purely out of necessity after Rex got hurt. I still think he will end up on whatever side of the ball he's needed more.
  12. Word is that the staff only wanted a juco TE if he could be on campus for spring ball. Since Vandenburg couldn't, they weren't interested. Sorry if this is old news.
  13. I believe all D1 athletes are on 1 year renewable scholarships. The $EC seams to be the one d bag conference that actually uses this to their advantage and cuts under performing players loose so they can sign bigger classes, apparently aTm has caught on quickly. This year the big 10 including nebraska went to 4 year scholarships va the normal one year renewable that had been normal Kind of interesting, wonder if it is a recruiting advantage? True, I believe the rule was changed starting this year allowing 4 year schollies. Definitely helps the student athletes, but I wont expect the $EC to adopt this assuming its optional.

  15. So what is it EZ, is he just not as talented as we all thought, not motivated or just not getting it upstairs?
  16. Good lord, from the camera angle he looks like he's 8 feet tall. The only thing missing is a black wrestling singlet ala Andre the Giant.
  17. If his height and weight are correct, he has excellent size for a corner at 6'1" 190. If he has the speed to match, it would definitely be worth the gamble.
  18. Asked him when he knew that Nebraska was the right school for him, he said he knew for sure when the 4 Husker offensive coaches came to see him at his in-home visit. He knew then how much the staff wanted him and he felt very comfortable having them in his home. His parents are incredibly nice people and he has a little brother who's about 11 or 12 and they say he's every bit the athlete that his brother was at that age. So I say we keep an eye on him. lol
  19. http://rivals.yahoo....ebraska-1112018 You are absolutely correct when you say that was his exact quote. You can hear him say it at the 5:16 mark. Thanks for posting, I was wondering if it made it on to the rivals video. I actually asked Terrell a question during the press conference and I know that it got cut out of the video. I'm not trying to make the head coach look like a d bag, but I did think it was obvious he favored Ucla, the first thing he said when he walked into the announcement ceremony was "is that my UCLA hat on the table". He could just be a jokester, but at least it tells us that Terrell really wanted to be a Husker and stuck to his guns despite possibly being influenced by someone close to him like his head coach.
  20. I fully expected to see this when I clicked on the topic. lol
  21. Perhaps you should pay him a visit. Hmmm, Tempe AZ isn't that far away. If we make his top 3 I'll consider it.
  22. He claims to be nowhere close to making a decision, but would like to do it before signing day and insists that ASU, Ucla, LSU, ND, Nebraska and Florida St are on equal footing at this point.
  23. The staff must of figured that he's not any better than the TE's already on the roster. This one baffles me.
