  1. Sooooo basically, I'm very wasted right now, but I just felt a calling to reach out to my scarlet brethren and say......GO F'IN HUSKERS!! LETS START A MACH 9 IN AMES TOMORROW!! They won't know what a real cyclone is until they get a feel of the No. 4 offense in the nation. If you guys are gonna be down there tomorrow let me know!! I'd love to give a few beers to some huske faithful, trust me, I"ll have enough!! Peace, love and tackles for loss my friends (wow, I am drunk......)
  2. I think one key thing to always consider is that.....being how our secondary is one of the most vulnerable ones in the nation right now....(maybe a lil overexaggeration, but you can't say by much) We can probably expect Meyer, with Blythe and Flynn, to put up at least 250 + receing yards. I mean, whouldn't you? Grixby is at least 5' inches or more shorter than both of them and Andre is still trying to click, I might be playing devils advocate here, but I'm just trying to get us into the mindset of what can be and could be....I'm hoping for something miraculous, because if Barmann had a hayday on us, I can see Blythe having a bigger one.... ...But hey, since I had a sip of kool-aid tonight, I'll say 37 - 27 NU, because our Offense is that good...
  3. For Real! That kinda chaps my ass a lil' bit! I mean, have you ever heard a blackshirt in the past give any kind of excuse about the home crowd being too loud?! Going along with what Centex said. It's a f**kin home game...in L-I-N-C-O-L-N, I hope the blackshirts go deaf every home game we have from here on out!! Just as long as they learn how to throw up some sign language! Sorr if I sound like I'm rantin, I just got a little mad when I read that article...that shouldn't ever be an excuse when you're playing at home... ...*whew*...Ok, I'm done!
  4. I hope that our recruiting class stays in the top 20 from here on out.....in order to compete, we need good recruiting classes, I don't know how Callahan pulled off our Top 5 recruiting class two years ago, but he needs to keep that up, last years was good but it wasn't anything compared to the years before, I know, hard to do, but this class that we have shaping up for this year isn't anything special at all, all we got is one four star guy, and he's from Omaha, I know that stars don't really mean sh#t, but it'd be nice to get some more high-profile guys.
  5. I don't see where getting laid has anything to do with Husker football, but I'll tell my girlfriend you said that, hopefully she can help me out with that! Cheers!
  6. It's alright BIGREDIOWAN, no need to fret, I got my lucky Husker boxers on, so don't worry, no outages in your future!
  7. Why do Husker fans kick so much ass?!?!?! Oh, and I guarantee that if we win, SoCal will belong to the Huskers for this one night......and it'll be glooorious!!
  8. I surf the web at work alllllll day....and I've literally read every article and breakdown and prediction of the game that's out there, and everybody is just bashing the sh#t out of us, nobody has any faith that we can even come within 14.....it irks me to the point of insanity because I KNOW we are good enough to beat USC, it's gonna be a great day my friends....a great day!
  9. Yeah, Fowler's a douche....I could care less where Gameday is to be honest with you, as long as I get to watch my beloved Huskers dominate!
  10. .....It's impossible GO BIG RED!!!!!!
  11. Not to be a debbie downer, but I'm pretty sure Buffalo lost 40 to 48 to Bowling Green in one overtime, but I think Gill is doing a good job and is making the Buffalo faithful a lil excited about the future.
  12. I think that as long as we're in the comfort zone of our own board, we can say whatever we want to those sCUmbags.
  13. I predict I will carve hateful KSU and Colorado comments into my coffee table whilst watching the games... I predict that I will gain quite a bit of weight this season because liquor and football games don't go together. (just when I started losing weight too) I predict that the refs will make numerous horrible calls and I will proceed to flip shite at them.
  14. You guys make it seem like a bad thing that he broke all those tackles and ran it in for a touchdown.....I don't see any negatives here at all. He's a big guy and it's likely that he'll be doing that to a lot of the linebackers he goes up against. I don't think this shows anything bad about our defense at all, it just shows promise for Wilson.
  15. Hey guys, I don't know if any of you have seen this yet or if it has been posted, if it has, sorry....but here's a video I found on youtube of Wilson's TD run in practice....and HOLY sh#t, that guy can run and break tackles with the best of them. A lot of douche bags who watched the video posted comments saying that it was poor tackling, but that's shite, it was a scrimmage at full speed, he just broke em all. Check it out and tell what you all think about it. I think it looks pretty promising....but I guess only time will tell! GBR!!
  16. For real, I totally forgot about that game until I read the thread on their board....that was a horrible game....ewwwww
  17. Lets just go ahead and say that he came here becase we are the balls and Oklahoma....well...they just aren't.
  18. What really makes me sick about the whole thing is John David Booty is already on pretty much every college football analysts preseason heisman watch list....What the hell is that? The dude threw for 327 yards with 26 completions out of 42 attempts with 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. THat's a great prediction for a heisman season. What? Just cause he is the heir apparent to the USC QB dynasty.... :hmmm 27-20 Nebraska, mark my words, or at least highlight em or something....we will prevail.
  19. Halfway throught the season, Koetter is going to be staring at the framed picture of Keller that he has on his bedstand at night sobbing, wondering....."Why?! Why?! Why am I such a pu&&y and let my seniors who I should be telling what to do boss me around and tell me to start Rudy!" I feel for the guy, but he's a spineless jackass and because of his stupid decision, we have, in my opinion, one of the top 5 QBs in the nation for next year. It's going to be a sweet sweet year my friends....sweet year.
  20. Here's an interesting thing to ponder....What if Beck wouldn't have missed his mom changing his diapers everday and decided to stay in Lincoln. Do you guys think that Keller would've even considered coming to Nebraska, and if he did consider it and then decided to come anyway, how fast do y'all think Harisson would've jetted then....probably faster than Michael Jackson in a room full of non-minors.
  21. That's a cute little pyramid you got going there.....
  22. Haha! That reporter sucked. Did you see the look on Keller's face after each question? You could tell he was saying to himself "What in the hell is this guy talking about? Am I excited? Of course I'm excited, I'm playing at the best football program in the nation!" The reporter must've gotten his degree from K State......
  23. Holy Shite! This is amazing! This guy is one of the best precision passers out there.....plus, our receivers will only be bigger, faster and stronger next year. The offense will be dynamite! Now, the real question is....Them blackshirts...next year....we lose most of the d line and a few linebackers.....so I mean.....is it possible that our offense could supersede our defense next year? just a thought.
  24. 1) How long have you been a member of Husker Nation? I've been bleeding red for about 9 years now 2) What/who led you to The Nation? When I moved up here, I saw all the diehard fans and the comraderie that they shared and I wanted to be apart of that, plus, when I moved up, it was right after our championship season in 97. 3) Where are you from originally? I am originally from a little suburb of LA called Oxnard in California, then moved to Arkansasa (a pretty big razorback fan too) 4) Where do you live now? Now...I live on Omaha 5) Favorite Husker memory? Kicking Michigan's ass...that was fun 6) Worst Husker memory? The whole 5-6 season 7) Number of home games attended? only 3...boooo 8) Number of away games attended? 1...I was fortunate enough to be at the Kansas game last year 9) Favorite Husker memorabilia/apparel? My lucky hat 10) Favorite place to watch a Husker game? (section in Memorial, bar, friends house etc.) My buddies huge high def, flat screen big screen television 11) Favorite all time player? Probably Eric Crouch, I met him and he just kicked ass 12) WCO or Option? I liked how we ran the option, letting our opponents know that we are going to run it and you know that we're going to run it, but you can't do anything to stop it, that was badass, but the Corn Coast is promising. 13) Stevie Pederson or Billy Byrne? No preference, as long as he does things to upgrade our program, I'm all for him 14) Lil Red or Herbie Husker? Lil Red and Herbie are both studs 15) Favorite Husker play? When Eric Crouch barreled over the linebacker in the Iowa game for a touchdown. 16) Favorite game-day beverage? Fermented wheat beverages 17) How did you find HuskerBoard? (referral source) I was bored at work and after exhausting all other husker resources I wanted to see what other people were saying about the huskers, so I googled husker boards and voila! I'm stoked to be apart of this board, you guys seem really cool and fun to converse with! GBR!
