Great article, I agree he is the #1 I-Back we have he gets out there and makes big plays and when you think he is going down he pops out and rushes for a few more yards or even better. He hasn't had a 140+ yards like some of the other backs but you can tell he has the talent to rush for that much if not more. He seems like he just knows how to read a D line and knows when to make his cuts to get up field.

I agree with that, Tommie should have won and don't know why he didn't. It is nice to see he is ranked #1 on the list.

Yeah he is like a mule and is always where he needs to be to make a big play. He is getting better and better as the year progresses. I'm sure glad he is playing for us and not agaist us.

I think we can win them all. I say we have tough schedule ahead of us with but we have the advantage of playing Texas, MU, and CU at home. I know CU hasn't looked that great but they are showing an amazing comeback. I say Texas and Texas A&M are going to be the toughest but if are D keeps playing the way they have been and are offense starts putting some points on the board that I know there capable of then we can win the rest of them. I have seen everyteam play this year on TV waiting for the NU games to come on and I know we are stronger then every team in the Big 12 when we are playing to are full potential.

Thats great I think when I was deployed back in 02-03 I was only able to see 1-2 Husker games that were televised and the Superbowl which was awsome we had a huge SB party. I was happy because it was when Tampa Bay made it and stomped the Raiders. Anyways congrats on being able to watch the game and thank you for your time in service. From another soldier

Yeah was kinda upset about them not calling that and also not calling the defensive pass interferance to. We could of had at least another touchdown or two if not fieldgoals if they would have made these calls. But oh well a win is a win I'm not going to sit on it, I say its time to forget it and move on to Texas.

Yeah just noticed that nice jump for the Huskers and good to see the overrated MU Tigers are out all together. I live in Columbia so that just gives me some fire to throw at all the Tiger fans. Now a win next week is a must then maybe we can get in the top 10.

NU-24 UT-21 Passing-195 Rushing-210 D is going to be the deciding factor in this game if we play like we did agaist ISU and KSU then we can pull out a win maybe even by more then I predicted.

I kinda agree but I loved every bit of this game go in and get the lead then let our D have some fun with Freeman. I think we taught him a lesson. I don't think they cared after we got a good lead at makeing it a huge lead go out there if we run and get a first down then great if not and we have to punt then we send the D back out who is already pumped up and let them have some more of Freeman. It seemed like the D was the big part tonight. I do admit KSU does have a strong D also but we could have done alot better if we needed to on Offense but there was no point of it. Go Blackshirts, and after tonight I do think they are comeing back. On Blitz at a time, or as this game shows just blitz the whole game and don't let Freeman have any time to think. Anyone else love seeing Freemans dazed look after each hit. He had a deer in the headlight look or what a bug looks like before it hits the windshield. LMFAO!!

My guess would be to call Comcast and ask them what channel the FSN PPV games are on and have them look up and see if they have it listed in your area. I'm sure they'll have it available in your area, if not have them look into getting it for you.

Yeah I thought that call was a good one surprised the ref even spotted it but as far as the touchdown I didn't think that call was right I thought they had it. But if after reviewing it and they said he bobbled it and didn't have control of it then I believe it. We have had some touchdowns called back on us this year for either not haveing are feet in bounds or whatever. Its life you just have to move forward.

Hey RockChalk good post and great analysis. I couldn't agree with you more about the people doing the wave I heard about this and a few other things happen at this game about some Husker fans getting rude with the KU fans. I have nothing but respect for KU fans I went to the game last year in Lawarence and all the KU fans were very respectful the whole game. I'm glad you enjoyed your time and hope you'll attend another game. As far as your analysis on the game you were right on we do have a week secondary and hopefully they work on that this week. Don't know why the CB's we have are starting when it looks like we have alot of tall fast guys on the roster but will see how the season ends. I wish the Jayhawks the best of luck the rest of the year and will be pulling for them they played strong in Memorial Stadium(Which is the toughtest in my opionion to play at for the opponents) and with that said they shouldn't have a problem playing agaist any of the other teams. Memorial Stadium is the toughest stadium to come to and play strong but they showed up and played hard and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole game.

After Troys big loss to Nebraska they had to cut all funding to the spirit squad and masscot and move it all into getting some better recruits. So in the long run they started haveing the fans where there own Trojan attire to the games to make up for the lack of a mascot.

Yeah I don't blame the coach seemed like he had a great game plan but are players didn't execute them right. We should have lost that game I am glad we didn't. But it is the players who had the game so close. Zac Taylor wasn't on, had a few fumbles, and are secondary is very week and they kept throwing into are secondary and makeing big plays. I don't know who else we have for CB's but I think we need to next year start looking for some good recruits to come in that has the height and speed advandage to keep up in the back field. Are secondary does good for what we have but you can tell by a few missed tackles that there not real strong and also by the lack of interseptions in the secondary that they are not real tall also. Hopefully Coach C will figure something out threw the week and really pound it in are players heads and they'll come out next week and stomp all over ISU. If we don't get something figured out we are going to have a tough time beating Texas, Texas A&M, and Oklahoma State. But thats just my 2 cents. I know we have a good team except for are secondary, I believe our offense was just off this weekend.

Well I can't believe we have fans that act like this. But like stated before even though we are highly respected fan base we still are not 100%. I went to the KU game last year and all the KU fans were really nice even though they were killing us the first time in 36 years. But at the MU game the fans were very rude at that game. People said it was because MU has sucked for so long the fans have become bitter and that the reason they acted like that towards the fans because they were winning. Guess if we would have stomped them like years before they would have suspected it and would have been nice who knows. Anyways I hope they do something about this Pizza guy I don't want this one guy and the few fans throwing crap ruining are rep. If they want to act like that I think they should change there teams their cheering for to sCUm so they'll fit right in and not be a outcast.

Yeah I seen that one poll drop isn't bad at all. And were still ranked above MU in which hopefully they will get kicked off the 25 list this week when they lose to Texas Tech. We need a solid game agaist ISU if we want to stay up there. Which hopefully the coaches will work on are weak points threw the week and will come out next week and stomp all over ISU.
