For me game day is like Christmas. It's hard to fall asleep the night before, and I'm up bright and early the next morning. It's hard for me to not wear reds every other day. I'm proud to be a member of Husker Nation and it's one of the best feelings in the world! GO BIG RED

I was fortunate enough to see a real "dude" at work today Complete with : Mesh trucker hat Abercrombie (or similar store) hoodie 3 earrings in each ear and Notre Dame Fighting Irish leprechaun tattoo on the side of his neck. If only I was 1/4 of that cool

Something similar to that happened to me at school yesterday at school. So I take the commuter train, and was walking down a sidewalk down a hill to catch the train. I hear the crossing bells start to ring and the gates coming down. So I start running, otherwise I'd have to wait 10 minutes for the next train. Well cowboy boots don't have the best handling on ice and I fell hard on my a$$. I'm sitting there on the sidewalk, both legs straight out and the first thing I think is 'I missed the damn train'. A girl that I passed asked me if I was ok, and I said "I'm fine, except I missed my train." Turns out it was a train leaving the station (going the other direction -Northbound) when I wanted a train coming into the station (Southbound). But I did have a good laugh at myself after I saw the train going Northbound (and I'm sure everyone else around had a good laugh too).

I'd have to disagree, with maybe the exception of ND. All of those other fanbases are also most likely fans and spend their time, concentration and money on other sports teams whether it be collegiate or professional. Here it is (for the most part) live and breathe Husker football....and oh yeah, there are some teams in Kansas City and Denver too. Don't forget Alabama. Or Michigan

I can't change the fact I was born/raised in the Pacific Northwest so it must be in my genes or something . If it makes ya sleep better at night looking at me (and where I live) you'd never guess that I'm a Seahawk fan. But it's quite obvious which team's first in my heart I'm currently converting my g/f into a Husker fan from a Cowboys fan

I'm torn... I've never liked the Colts, and I wanted New Orleans to beat Chicago, because Chicago beat my Seahawks.

For me they'd just have to show my house. But there are some things that even I thought were "too much" (ie. the toilet seat and toothbrush to name a few). Everyone at school calls me Nebraska, and someone asked me how many Husker tshirts I owned, I had to count and get back to him (it's at least 8, and that's just tshirts, not including sweatshirts, hoodies, and polos)

I hear that! I had Stats last semester, and I can tell ya that things looked bleak for me and I was worried that I'd have to take it again for another 4 months. When I checked my mark I was happy that I didn't have to take it again, but it killed my GPA.

Finally done for the day! Watching paint dry could have gone by faster.

I've got studded winter tires on the back wheels and the summer tires (on rims) with lots of weight in the trunk (but I doubt ya got room for that with the police equipment in there). And driving like a bluehair really helps with this crappy weather (too bad the morons here can't figure that out, afterall they are from here and should be used to these subzero winters).

I'll tell ya "Project Management" sounds more fun than it really is!

When we had our deep freeze, I thought to myself 'They should have a 'Snow Day' [just like when you were a kid]'. do people need go outside when it's subzero temperatures outside.

Yep I figured I could get HUSKERS, afterall this the frozen white north. I was shocked I must have trided at least 5 different combinations (this was all off the top of my head). I know I don't really want BIG RED (besides the fact that it's probably gone) since my car is blue and most people won't get the refrence.

I have the plate that's my avatar (no longer valid). I've also got GOBIG97 (another Nebraska issued vanity and it's expired). Last time I've looked into getting Husker vanity plates in Alberta, all my options were taken! IN CANADA!!! Anyways, I need a list to take to the DMV.

That's nothing, last week it was -19 outside, and I checked the weather in Anchorage, and it was 15. I also have a friend from there, and he said Alaska is paradise compared to here. Right now it's 9 outside and we're considering that 'hot'. I had to scrape ice off my headlights. You know things are bad when you turn on the defroster in your car and snow comes out. Saw on the news this morning snow in LA, Texas, Louisiana, all over the south. That's why I don't believe in global warming.

Still better than my grandmother, who is close to 72, and still has not ever held a driver's license.
