  2. Player: Ra'shede Hageman Hometown: Minneapolis, MN Position: TE Height: 6'5" Weight: 233 lbs. 40 time: 4.75 Visit Date: Scholarships offered: Nebraska, Iowa State, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Illinois, Michigan State, Florida Favorites: Rankings/Stars: Rivals: Big Red Report: Assessing the talent: TE prospect can also play DE. He is a star basketball player as well. From ESPN evaluation: Hageman is a promising tight end prospect. He possesses good size and the frame to add more good bulk. He will need added size, but should have little problem getting up to a more ideal weight. He is a productive player as both a receiver and a blocker. In the passing game he can be a weapon. He is a tall rangy kid who looks to have a good wing span and can make some tough grabs. He can be a quarterback's best friend in the sense that the ball can be thrown up and he will go up and get the ball at its highest point. His size and ability to jump make him a tough match-up and a target in the red-zone. More here: http://insider.espn.go.com/ncf/recruiting/...26season%3d2009 Video: Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: 10%. Tough competition from in-state Minnesota. Wisconsin is known to be recruiting very hard. Ohio State will also be in the mix.

I like Big 10 football its hard nose football.” he said “I like Houston Nutt (Mississippi), they were my second offer. I feel good with their program. Ole Miss runs the spread offense the play fits my style.” “I check the internet to see what schools are recruiting quarterbacks. It’s important who they are after, who they sign. I do have the mentality to beat out who ever I do compete against. I will probably narrow my list down once I visit all the school this summer, I would like to make a decision by fall.” Some schools Nathan said he would like to visit this summer: Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Mississippi, South Florida, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, and Illinois.
  7. Latest from Husker Journal. Will be interesting to see how this one unfolds. Sounds like we are in the mix and will get visit but we are already competing hard vs. Penn State and Alabama...and may end up against Notre Dame and Ohio State. I think he is LB prospect for us....may be RB/FB for others. MAY 17, 2008. PREP STAR MIKE MARROW, RB/FB, 6-1, 240, 4.7, TOLEDO (CENTRAL CATHOLIC), OHIO Mike has offers from Alabama, Nebraska, Penn State, Army and Toledo. “I know the head coach Bo Pelini (Nebraska).” said Marrow, “My dad is good friends with Bo they use to play basketball together at Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown-Ohio). I know the Alabama coaches well.” said Marrow, “Coach Sabin sends me lots of letters and said they want me bad. I like the area, the SEC. Right now Alabama and Penn State are my top two schools.” “I like Penn State’s tradition.” he said, “Last year I went to the Penn State and Purdue game. I really liked it a lot, the campus is nice.” “Joe Paterno’s son Jay came by my school last week I missed him because I had a math test.” “Notre Dame said they will offer me in June. They want to see my test scores first.” said Marrow, “Notre Dame is the only school that is recruiting me as a fullback. Others want me as a running back. Notre Dame said they only want one fullback (2009 class).” “We just moved to Toledo last year from Columbus. My dad took a job here. Ohio State said they will offer me later. I went to some of their games last season.” he said “Michigan State came by last week to get film. It looks like they might offer me later.” Mike added that he would like to visit schools this summer and make a decision by fall. Alabama, Penn State, Michigan State, Notre Dame and Nebraska are among the schools Marrow would like to visit. Mike said he might not make the Penn State trip because of distance.

More here: http://insider.espn.go.com/ncf/recruiting/...26season%3d2009 Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: 15%. I like our chances if he wants to play in the Big 12. Possesses just average size for a cover corner with a lean frame that should continue to fill out well. Striking speed and acceleration; able to make up for his lack of technique and size at times with great recovery burst to the football and sound coverage instincts...Physical corner who looks to lay the wood on contact. Shows an extra gear when tracking and breaking under the deep throw as well. More here: http://insider.espn.go.com/ncf/recruiting/...26season%3d2009 Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: 15%.

From ESPN: Giles may possess the best burst and acceleration through the hole in this running back class. He reaches top speed by his second step and can shred a defense up the seam into the second level in a blink. Very sudden and shifty through traffic.
