I don't know about you guys but I was surprised to see a pass play on the first down of the game. I was surprised at what was going after that until the end. That being said, Nebraska had a plan to win the game and they didn't execute. You can talk play calling but I don't know how serious it can really get. I don't know about you but I've never myself tried to put an offense scheme together. If anyone here has I would like to know so we know here on huskerboard who really knows how to run the WCO. I'm just saying that it's hard to criticize play calling unless they are just horribly obvious calls imo (onside punt on 1st down). Remember the 95 Hukers? They executed every down, and they could tell the defense exactly what they were going to do and they still couldn't stop them.

He is part of our db team, and they are our weakness. They were exposed by a number of decent QB/Rec. matchups this year. Giving up big plays was Nebraska's achillies heel this year. That being said, they are still part of our team, and they are trying their best. If we can pull in some strong db recruits, it may be all we need to get back.

I was dissapointed to see the pitch back reverse on the opening kickoff. It was not the time nor place imo. After that I'm not sure we ran another trick play, can anyone confirm this? I know the situation has to be right, but the hb pass can be set up from either hash mark, right? I thought I would see something since we weren't getting any points with the good field position, yet kept getting chances. Any thoughts why we pulled out all the stops against the buffs, but were as predictable as the tides after the first kickoff?

Give OU the credit for jumping out to an early lead and playing great defense. Our DB's are easily picked on by a decent QB with at least 1 star 6'+ receiver. ZT got us here. He is our man. I agree OSU and Michigan are the two best teams. There fore, when they play one another, one has to lose. Losing by 3 points doesn't necessarily make the team, "overrated". IMO USC has one more win to get to really have an argument, and the loss to Oregon St. is why. Ratings are dumb in my opinion. Maybe it's just college football. I hate that as soon as a team loses once, they spend the season proving themselves. If they lose late in the year, ohwell, no time to prove yourselves. Better luck next year. Some teams will even go undefeated and still get no respect because of who they play. This is why March Madness is so special. There are actually equal chances for all. If there was December Madness, I can just imagine awesome it could be.
