  1. U of W is in the southern part of the state so they might could be satisfied with that justification of being a South division team of the North/South system. The rest of them are obviously divided North/South
  2. If they were looking for alliteration, Legend and Legacy (or Legends and Legacies) would have worked better, too.
  3. If you are talking non-conference opponents, yep, but overall, it could be more common. I think Oklahoma played Missou 3 times in that period in 2006/7, just as an example. Granted it was a CCG, but...
  4. Nebraska & Colorado next year: A ttending B etter C onferences
  5. A void B o's C onversations with a pic of him having a 'conversation ' with a ref
  6. Just considering, there have not been any "storybook ending" type gsmes this year for NU (shoulda beat Texas, shoulda stomped ISU). I don't think proving something against OU, in the form of a win, is in the cards. Not saying that we wouldn't, I think we should take on OSU again and just win the CCG. That's fitting enough for me.
  7. I was at the Iowa vs Northwestern game and also watched it on replay. Iowa seemed sluggish and made mistakes like penalties and dropped passes all at the worst times. Their punts were awful, too. If they don't straighten those things out they lose again to tOSU. As far as NU/aTm, I'm hoping the Aggies are looking forward to the Texas game, not concentrating on Nebr., but probably not since they look so easy to beat and we are ranked in the top 10. Our pass D should handle their pass O, it'll be a fight in the trenches on the line, tho'.
  8. My feeling is 1 more, 2 total... It almost seems we play terrible against lesser teams (SDSU,UT,ISU) but play well against the highly regarded teams (UW, KSU,OSU, MU),so we have two terrible teams to play, CU and KU, so we screw up and lose to one of them, probably CU, and kick the heck out of aTm. We win the CCG and the BCS bowl opponent.
  9. Crips / Bloods Wax-on / Wax-off Beatles / Stones Nuclear / Nucular OMG / WTF Sodom / Gomorrah
  10. The guy getting hit by Martin in the photo is not even wearing an orange uniform! That's a SDSU player...It's not the same hit.
  11. Considering the outcome of the UT ISU game, I guess I root for Oklahoma....
  12. Ok we already lost the rematch to Texas I really don't care about playing them again also how can you be a Nebraska fan and not hate mizzou? That my friend is un Nebraskan like. Because, amigo, I've lived in Texas a while and have to put up with their arrogance firsthand. missouri was a Big Eight team, one of our own. That's a different level of rivalry, nothing to do with hate. Texas is an outsider and has embarrassed us and I prefer a win. That's how.
  13. We are setting up future games with Oklahoma, we can beat them then. I doubt we ever set up future games with Texas. I still want to hand a farewell loss to Texas, to roll over and give up on that, to me is UnAmerican or at least unNebraskan. I'm rooting for Pride of the Big Red! And yes, roundegotrip, I am assuming we win out for the Conference Championship.
  14. It seems to me that Missouri beating OU would work out best for us. We will play Mizzou but we will only play OU if they win the South. If Missouri wins we get to play another rated team - OU loses and they are a little less likely to win the South and we might get another chance at Texas. I'm rooting for Mizzou.
  15. Not to dwell on the officiating, but has anyone discussed that punt that was downed on like the 3 yard line. When they ran the replay it clearly showed the Texas player with a toe in the endzone. I also mention this because it was one of the attributes to Justin Tucker receiving the Big XII Special teams player of the week. I'd say he did a good job with multiple credits, but who else had a 95 yard punt return?
