I'm a little confused. Against UW Wats ran up the middle alot. Against SDSU we started to wear them down later on up front and were gaining 6-8 yds up the middle but then he would go back to that slow developing zone sweep and SDSU just stretched the field and clogged up the gaps. I understand mixing it up and not developing tendencies but make the "D" stop you.

Obviously the biggest concern for me after our first 4 games is our front 4. The sucess all 4 of our non-conf opponents had running up the middle concerns me greatly.

I was not suprised at all by SDSU's performance. They have always had a very physical O-line/D-line and will not cower to anyone. They love smash mouth football and they dominated the LOS.

Why not blame TO. If he would have hired Turner I'm sure Tuberville, or Carrol or some other high profile coach would have taken the job at KU

You shouldn't be and this is the only year you'll see us under Gilly. I seriously doubt we'll ever meet in the Alamo Bowl. I wonder if any Big X(II) schools will still schedule you, perhaps Oklahoma. Well here in Alaska we all "carry" so I probably would have killed both of them and then went to bed.

Things didn't look all that great from a defensive stand point last week but they got some game film and those kids will have some of the best defensive coaches in the country coaching them up this week so I think will see a marked improvement come Saturday. Those kids were thrown to the wolves and it may end up as a blessing in disguise. Once Compton comes back will have that much more experienced depth

Didn't watch the game, but listened to it. There are plenty of things to work on, but I am trying to keep it in perspective. It was basically a pre-season game
