I don't understand why everybody thinks Bo is such a hot coaching choice right now. He has done nothing the last two seasons to improve his stock as a head coach.

This year has been the most frustrating season I can remember. Even more so than Callahan's last season. We came in to the year with top 10 hype. We didn't improve on anything as the year went on. We never got pressure on the quarterback without blitzing. We never could get off the field on 3rd down. Dropped passes that would have moved the chains. Stupid penalties. Pretty much a wasted year for both Turner and Green. We will never be more then a 9 or 10 win team if Bo continues to use the philosophy of playing whoever practices best. There are always going to be walk-ons or over achievers that are better at practice but are not difference makers on game day. It is obvious to me that as we have transitioned out of Callahan's recruits that our talent level has dropped off dramatically. Next year will be a make or break season for Bo. The seat is hot.

People are so stupid...Stoops isn't going anywhere. Venables Maybe. But not Bob/

No doubt!! Where is this Ekeler crap coming from? Calm down there sport. Just find it weird how only about two players played with any emotion this year and we never saw any of our coaches jumping around supporting the guys like he did.

My first pick for dc would be Stoops, but a close second would be for Mike Eckler to come back. Our defense played with very little emotion this year and that was something Eckler always showed on the sidelines. Plus he shares Bo's defednsive pylosophy. The one set back would be how pathetic Indianas defense was this year.

Oh yeah i forgot our O-line hasn't been good on pass protection all year either.

Its not just a trend it is the way this team is. Can't get off the field on 3rd down, don't get ant pressure on the quarterback, other then David nobody tackles, and we lose the turnover battle almost every week. This team is just average at best. Its a bummer but its the reality of this team.

With all that is going on in Penn St. will out team be safe. It will be a media circus, and lets just say Joe Pa is fired before Saturdays game there could possibly be a riot situation given all the support he got last night. Will we change out travel schedule because of this. Just something to think about.

What if this whole scandal came out back when they missed a bowl for 3 straight years. I bet Joe Pa wouldn't be getting this kind of support. The whole thing is pathetic

This is an excellent point. Good God I live in Kansas and have to listen to all these f'ing Kstate fans who think there program is as good as ours. Let me tell you this I would go through 10 Callahan seasons before I would ever cheer for them purple pricks. We still have it pretty damn good here and for those of you who can't tolorate 2-3 loses a year you need to get over yourself.

WE lost this game in the first half. I don't really blame the defeense. I f thought going in NOrthwestern would scorre 21 to 28 points. OUr pathetic play calling and predictability run game lost this game. WHy do we refuse to use our speed on the edge. INstead on 3rd and 3 we insist on running between the tackes when they have 9 in the box. VEry frustrating to watch

I have attended maybe a dozen husker games in my life and have never been at a game that we lost. But my most dissappointing game would have to be BAll St in 2007. That was one of the most pathetic defensive performances. I have ever seen. They had so many chances to win that game but we were bailed out by Bo Rudd returning an interception for a touchdown.

What i got sick of hearing were the excuses for Mich St. instead of giving us alittle credit for whipping them for 4 quarters.

Rex was awesome but i give it to the d-line as well. They put constant pressure on the qb. Something we havent had all year.

After Kenny Bell scored his touchdown I noticed he raised his hands and put them into a triangle shape or maybe a diamond. I also noticed on the replay that some of the crowd flashed it back at him. Does anyvbody know what this is in reference to. Thanks for the input.

I totally agree with you on the fact that Bo could be a little more respectful to the press. But if I was being asked the same stupid questions week in week out I would be frustrated too. They keep asking him about Martinez and his poise and performance. Its like Bo said "You were there". I mean come on life isn't a video game. If Bo could have just hit the reset button and started over versus Wisconsin or the whole first half you know he would have. I don't know just how they want him to react to the same dumb questions. But you are right if we start losing the media will dog pile Bo and it may get really bad, because I don't think the media is there to be supportive at all but just to see what kind of reaction they can get out of Taylor and Bo.

A few years back when gundy blew up at a media member for bad mouthing one of his players it transformed him into a nationally known coach. In turn by doing this a believe it helped him dramaticaly in recruiting because moms and dads everwhere could see that this guy will stick up for our son. By the way the local media has been treating Taylor the last couple weeks is really sad. Now i don't that anybody that watched the Wisconsin game would say that Martinez played very well or made good decisions, however the coaches did not put him in very good situations to succeed. Now lets turn to last nights game the only pick Taylor had was on a pass that never should have happened, if the coaches would have just took there medicine and took a knee. And by the way the game would have been over at the six minute mark cause we would have been up 10 if we wouldn't have given them 3 free points before the half. I guess I'm just frustrated reading about how everybody wants to see Taylor benched, he is our best quarterback period. Just because he doesn't show alot of emotion doesn't mean he doesn't care. In closing I hope that our local media doesn't crucisify Bo for standing up for one of his kids, because I believe they will continue writing stories about this because they have a computer infront of them.
