I'm a longtime lurker here, but I felt compelled to post this. I had the privilege to attend the game yesterday. Going in, I was expecting to encounter some bad behavior by the PSU fans. Heck, Dr. Tom said it might be a good idea to not wear red. We were both wrong. The fans we encountered were extremely welcoming and classy. My family and I took a lap around the stadium before game time and I can't tell you how many time we were greeted, welcomed and told good luck. Even after a very emotional game, PSU fans took the time to chat with us and wish us good luck with the rest of the season. The guys tailgating next to us when we left were wasted out of their mind, but were extremely friendly as well and chatted with us for awhile. Everyone we met treated us with respect. Hats off to the PSU fans yesterday. You showed class and made every fan feel welcome.

the jets offense was embarrassed by the ravens. i feel bad for slauson, i was rooting for him.

amen. our offense is averaging almost 500 yards of offense in the first two games. there is waaaayyyy too much pessimism going on here.

NW did beat Iowa and Wisconsin last year. So they have potential to beat some good teams. Maybe I was remembering Minnesota wrong?

is anyone else concerned about the lower end teams? we have Minnesota and Northwestern, two schools on the up and up, while they have Purdue, Illinois, and Indiana. Teams that have never really been that good.

Yeah, that announcer was killing me "Durand-- makes the tackle-- prep ball-- 10 yard line" The Davis to Sklenar pass ala Texas was nice. Take away the 3rd and 4th quarters and West dominated. Quick offense, need to mix the plays up a bit though And yeah, there were a ton of cramps the announcer is Barry. he's a legend because he's been calling games since the 1600's
