  1. I've been reading this guys drivel on the Tigerboard for a long long time. Always the same tune like a broken record. Sometimes his own board members get on him to tone it down. With this letter he has reached a new low level of physcological insecurity. He knows deep down the Big Red is back and mentally his hate filled mind can't handle it, but of course would never admit it. When we kick MU azz this year watch for all the excuses he comes up with. It will be hilarious. I actually hope those poor fools have a good year as it will make our win that much sweeter. We want Pinkel to stay there a long time. Too bad Barney got the axe at CU. I loved the direction they were headed.
  2. I believe Joe is poised to set the all-time record for passes intercepted in the ACC if he starts the whole season. He is a d-back's dream come true. He is not a WCO QB due to happy feet and a less than stellar arm IMHO.
  3. but if you are not totally jacked by the prospects of this season and this team, then you probably don't wear RED to the games
  4. I live in the Omaha area and seriously don't know much about this kid. He still has a full HS season to play. However, could he be one of those prima donna/drama queens Callahan was talking about. He apparently doesn't want to be at NU and therefore not a big husker fan. Which seems a little strange since there are so many Central grads at NU including incoming freshman D.J. Jones also a lineman. Is he related to the tailback Gunn from a couple of years ago who went to ISU and was not offered by NU. Maybe there is some animosity there by the parents. Anyway, if he is blown away by the psuedo galmour of Miami vs the stability of the midwest, knock yourself out Mr Gunn
  5. What are mentally challenged friends south of the state line seem to forget is that the Fresh Prince of Stale Air fired the first salvo with his " Bill Callahan Who?" remark. They thought that was just genious personified and perfectly ok while they smirked about the Freeman coup. I think they pi$$ed our Irishman off. I can't wait till we met on the field this fall. I hoping for a serious bloodbath
  6. Winning the Big XII and playing in a BCS game would be awesome for Cally's third year. I think those would be somewhat reasonable to high expectations for the 2006 team. Anything more then that would be seriously overachieving much like some of TO's teams early on.
  7. Men of Corn - 34 Deamon Dudes - 10 rush - 198 pass - 225
  8. Chris LeFlore is Mark's little brother. He was another walk-on after high school. Carrying on the great NU walk-on tradition.
  9. Give me the Runza everytime You can buy the Fairbury dogs at the store and do them at home anytime. Besides I much rather prefer the Wimmer Natural Casing dog from West Point. Now, if those were featured at the stadium I would have to get one of each(Runza and a dog). Damn, this talk is making me hungry. I think I'll slide down to the neighborhood Runza for dinner
  10. Biggest obstacles to north championship are the road games at MU & CU (Obviously). Both have senior QB's and CU has a load of people returning as they played mostly underclassmen last year, and I expect Brad Smith to recover from his funk of last year and a revamped offense for MU. Hard to believe that CU has won the north 3 of the last 4 years. Man we owe those guys bigtime. I think Callahan and company have learned some valuable lessons from 2004 and the talent has been upgraded significantly with the jucos and redshirt frosh coming up. QB ( again obviouly ) is the key. If we can get a 60+% completion rate with an expected good running game and cut the turnovers in half, I think we win the north. Anyhow, it should be very interesting to watch it unfold.
