They talked about Barretts season and about how well it is going so far. Then Rome asked him about NU and said the big names are Gill and BP each specializing in something different. Ruud said something to the effects of " I know both of them, obviously i know BP better since he was DC while i was there and whoever gets it will do fine" Then Rome asked what he thought about Monte Kiffin coming back, and Ruud said "no way, he is comfortable and enjoys being a coordinator and thinks he would like to meet up agianst his son someday"

At this point anything is better than Cally. As far as him being here next year, i wouldnt count on it. That will be up to the new HC. With the failure this coaching staff has bred, i dont think anyone gets out unscathed.

He never knew how to coach to begin with. Nothing like single handedly running two programs defenses into the ground. After he gets thrown out of here, hopefully that will be the end of his life long goal to ruin defenses. Cant imagine after two back-to-back collosel failures he will ever get a DC job agian. I wouldn't let this guy coach my kids Jr. High team.

This really frustates me too!!! You'd think this would have crossed him mind. Obviously not. But, you hear all the coaches talk about getting "the best players on the field." But then we never see them. I'm sure glad Niles Paul got that catch against Nevada! Good Grief. That was worth burning a redshirt for dont you think?

i can understand why they do it for certain players and not others. You dont always want to play the younger guys, because experience makes up for alot. I believe they put in the younger guys who are grasping things at a quicker pace. They arent going to make up packages for younger guys who cant understand it. I do see your point though. My theory is, if it is to complicated for Cally to explain and you dont fully understand it untill you are a 5th year senior, it is to complicated for college.

If by monumental adjustments, you mean calling plays that make no sense repeatedly.......then yes

If its so technical you cant explain it....................then it is to technical for college football.

OMG thats hilarious he doesn't know the guy is out for the year. In all fairness, it was before he had a chance to prepare for Texas. I think the show was taped Sunday, so its a common oversight. Its not. Callahan should have known about this. Limus Sweed is probably one of the top 5 recievers in the nation and he is in our conference. Anytime there is a big injury to a big time player, EVERYONE knows about it..........accept for the NU head coach. What a joke!

Ok I feel stupid for asking this but I havent been around the board that long. Are these references to past occurences when the last coaching search was being "conducted?" Anytime, any team goes on a coaching search, that is the exact timeline the rumors go. However, since i am camped out in front of Pelinis house, i am the only truthful poster here. He has not gone to Lincoln once.

It took me a couple of days to track down where he lived, but i finally found out when practice was and tailed him. From what i can tell it looks like he may be expecting company and cleaning up a little, as the garbage he put out last night was much more than last week. I went through the garbage last night and was unable to find any sort of message about visiting or anyone visiting from Lincoln. Thankfully he didnt finish his pizza and i was able to eat, i hadnt eaten for a couple days as my money is running a little low. But i am going to remain diligent to the cause and will report any pertinent information........Billdozer out.

I know this to be absolutely FALSE. When the rumors started about Pelini, i figured this would happen so I actually drove to Baton Rouge and have been camped out in front of Pelini's place in an unmarked van. I have set up surveillance and am watching his every move. Unfortunately, there have been no trips made to Lincoln. However, i did see him order pizza last night.

If this is for real (and I remain doubtful), I'd have to say the TO's cheese has slipped off his cracker. Imagine being a coach and having a bunch of former coaches in your office and interfering with your players in the training room, etc. Nutzy. This has been tampered with. The original stated "former players", which has been replaced by "former coaches"

Hopefully, he could avoid running it straight into the ground without hitting the brakes. But by the time he would get here that will have already happened. At a glance it would look like he can build a team out of rubble given little or nothing.......looks we have one of the criteria already covered.

Unfortunately you have come to the wrong place. The wheels have officially come off this bus and we are plummeting towards hell , however we did take a detour on our fall from grace by getting TO as AD. This has single handedly brought most of the fans together, maybe we can pull out of this nose dive at the last second.........thats a BIG maybe.
