  1. Amukamara and Gilleyen would make a nice frosh duo.
  2. Is'nt it 2 scholarships for 3 years? Thats (DUH) 6 scholarships! That IS a big deal! Sure they are still gonna go after the kids they need but what you end up losing is a little depth and 6 backups, and that can make the difference in a knock down drag out brawl..... its a bigger deal than it looks. http://espn.go.com/ncf/news/2002/0201/1321198.html Ok, now that is a big deal. 2 scholarships, or 15 Ya 15 is worse, but 6 is still bad enough especially for what they did.
  3. What's the significance of #5 then? 555 Deal from Dominoes? Quick someone make him a samich!
  4. I understand what you are saying....but you are at a college football game where the students have been drinking from the night before, the adults have been tailgating for how many hours, and....it is a hell of a time. I was at a Gophers hockey game and it was absolutely crazy in the "family" section. As a parent I guess you have to explain that it is going to happen and that it is not appropriate to use the language. If it is too offensive, don't bring your kids.... Maybe BC can challenge the students to be loud and proud of the Huskers!!!! I hope the students go insane during the USC game and let them know they are at one of the best stadiums in the nation!!!! he better not pull a Hawkins though,--http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdcYoljrw4w that s$%t made me laugh but it wouldn't be cool BC said it about another team Wow....ummm........ Some one needs to make sure he is taking his meds.
  5. Exactly. Other wise we would be rivals with that "NCAA sanction dodging, girl raping, money taking, bunch of cheating bit**es called USC"............but were not rivals........just friendly competitors.
  6. If your wondering what they are like its about 10 min long of 50+ yard runs and insane cutbacks. Every time I watch it I have the same reaction...... Holy F**K!
  7. I assume the answer you are looking for is, No?
  8. i'm sorry i quoted the wrong writer. since he has averaged 5 losses a year, callahan hasn't turned anything around yet. osborne never lost 4,5, or 6 games in a season Are you seriously saying T.O. NEVER had a 4 loss season? Do I seriously have to go through all these old seasons and count how many 4 and 5 loss teams TO had? He was an amazing coach....who went through alot to have the success he did, don't minimize the struggle by wearing rose colored glasses that are that thick. Tom Osborne never lost more than 3 games in a season. He had 2 or 3 9-3-1 teams, but never lost more than 3. FYI. I stand corrected! Maybe I need to thicken MY rose colored glasses a little! He did have eight 3 loss teams by the way FYI. Not to argue the point(s) either way, but I've been following Husker football for about 40 years and I don't recall them ever trying to make the changes they have in the last 5 years. I don't think it's been much more painful than one might expect going from DeVaney(sp?)/Osborne dynasty -->> BC. I'm still hopeful that the painful transition will have been worthwhile. A dynasty like the Huskers have had is an extremely tough act to follow, especially with a major paradigm shift. I think that shift was necessary. Agreed.
  9. KSU sucks..........ya no I've got nothin else.......just that they suck..........purple is gay
  10. Amen! 11 guys need to get thier collective $hit together this year, but a little speed and illusiveness is always nice! One of the things that impressed me about looking at Prince's vidoeos was that he's good at following his blockers. he can accelerate through the holes but there's got to be some holes. His opponents will be a lot better than in HS where it's a lot easier for an outstanding player to be a one man show. Not saying he isn't good, just agreeing that it takes a whole team, and more so the higher the level of play. Tru Dat!

  12. Gotta agree with you benny....I'm really not interested in hearing cursing. You can be extremely loud and not have to curse,......That Wisconsin bit made me feel like I was at an old early 1980's NHL classic Ranger/Devil game. For me there's a big difference in rooting for and motivating the Huskers and demeaning the opponent. I'd rather have opponent fans think Lincoln is a great place to visit than that the students are base morons and they'd rather not visit. Leave all the crap to the Colorado students who got kicked out of the stadium a couple years back. NU doesn't need that kind of reputation. It has taken generations of fans to build the reputation for NU having great fans, (like clapping for the opponent after the game) don't be the D bag that messes up that tradition and makes us look like run of the mill sCUm fans, its beneth us.

  14. i hope you are correct Better line, more carries, another year in the system, sounds like a good start anyway!
  15. I have a question about that number change. I understand the number he was wearing was from at least one previous Husker great ( I don't remember which). Given Lucky is from California, and Reggie Bush's #5 is real popular today, do you think that had anything to do with it? Or is the number 5 of some other significance for him.? This change has left me scratching my head. Or is it no big deal? I think the change to 5 is probably props to Reggie Bush and I think he wants to be that guy for NU with Cody Glenn being the Lendale White guy. They have a long way to go to do that, but gotta strive to be the best. Yes, I remember the USC staff going to watch Lucky play(I believe he scored 8 TD's that game) and pushing really hard for him after he visited Lincoln. There was a fear that Lucky was for sure going to end up a Trojan. In the end, he just wanted a change of scenery, and Nebraska is definitely different. A better chance to play probably did'nt hurt either.
  16. I wish we had a few more talented DEs because I would love to see Barry Turner play TE all the time, can you imagine the mismatches he would create? Awesome!
  17. Better listen to Rob - he perfected his technique on hookers... You mean the two for one part?
  18. Sooooo, if I take up your bet, I'll be betting against Jesus? Seriously, Zac sounds like the kind of guy everybody would like to have in their program. Good story. If Zac makes some good plays against us Sept 15th, I'll remember he has a good side. I know! Those are'nt very good odds are they! Honestly I just love watching a great possesion wide reciever and a great cover corner go at it.......I hope I get a chance to see that Sept 15th!
  19. What about bringin' in some DIDO......that would get everyone pumped!
  20. Be a leader by example, take off your shirt and waive it in the air...........then encourage the girls to do the same. C'mon, do it for the Huskers......
  21. Watch out for Mike McNeil this year he is gonna bring a new demension to our offense.
  22. I don't know, I think BC is more sneaky than that. Lawson showed he was dangerous with the ball in his hands, he would be a nice wrinkle to the inside running game, especially if Glenn can't stay healthy.
  23. At least Bill brushes his teeth..............C'mon Frank its not like you're from Missouri!
