  1. Mack Brown is not a "classy" coach. Remember 2008* ? Also, lol at you giving us a "history" lesson because you watched the 1994 OB on ESPN classic, where's it's heavily edited to remove controversial plays and angles. NU got screwed in that game to give Bowden his title. Finally, bleacher report is about as reliable as TMZ or the National Enquirer, which is where your "letter" belongs.
  2. To be completely fair, he could easily get reimbursed for this if he wanted. Athletes get all transportation, food, and clothing costs paid for by the athletic department, not to mention the free housing, food, per diems, etc. Obviously Prince didn't do it for those reasons, as he is an incredibly nice guy and generous person, but just sayin. I'm not sure it works quite like that, but in all honesty, it doesn't really matter. Prince is a good guy and was brought up well by his family. It also doesn't hurt that his family is pretty well off financially.
  3. So was 2000 Oklahoma. And 2006 and 2007 Texas...
  4. Really? What positivity could've been said about that debacle? They were friends too and had a good deal of mutual respect. Not sure what some have against Pete. I've always admired him as a coach, his approach to the game. Seems to work very well at the college level (I know, sanctions, sanctions). But he always seemed like a fun-loving, good personality coach who was a benefit to the college game. Too bad he'll have more trouble in the pro's. But like others have said, you can't really use this as validation since he would say something positive regardless, just as a coach talking to the media. Uh.... he's a cheater, and a liar?
  5. You had to complete each game in the demo to unlock uniforms.
  6. Nice inflation job, whoever made that. I did, like a month ago. I tried to adjust the ratings to reflect our D being better than our O, which is more than likely true.. In the stock NCAA 11, they have our O an A- and our D a B+. I loaded these into NCAA 10, and it gave our O a B+ and our D an A-. Granted, the new ratings system will throw this outta whack, but there are things fundamentally wrong with our roster (and playbook). It's not going to be easy to fix. Thank God for formation Subs.
  7. Mostly names and numbers. It won't let me do position changes, as our defensive backfield is like musical chairs in regards to the Peso and safeties. There are some minor changes, but it is pretty dang accurate for what they previously had. I've also tweaked a few individual skills too (QB's were too good, andPrince Amukamara was way too low, considering he's a projected top pick in the draft). Once I get me hands on the game tomorrow, I'll make a better and more accurate team.
  8. Here's a completed roster with numbers. http://www.easports.com/teambuilder#/school/2250890292:1276692527
  9. Nebraska Playbook Edit: I love most of it, but there is no 2 HB shotgun set which is retarded.
  10. North Carolina might have the best defense in CFB next year. They have 5 (possibly 6) all-america candidates, and will probably have 5 players go in the first 2 rounds of the draft. Not to mention they had a higher ranked defense than us last year We had the #1 scoring D in CFB, on almost 100 (almost an additional game and a half) more plays (minimum) than any of the other top 25 Defenses. Carolina may have had a better "yardage" D, but Nebraska's was certainly the best in the land. Last year, yes, no doubt Nebraska did have the best defense in all of football last year, but isn't the game referencing 2010? I'm not sure, I've never actually owned and NCAA football game. If so I guess it remains to be seen who WILL have the better D, but UNC is absolutely stacked. I agree. As I re-read it, I misunderstood your statement. I thought you were saying UNC was better LAST year.
  11. Honestly, I only care about stupid penalties, not penalty rankings. I don't like plays like Asante's horse collar on Shipley, but there were dozens of bogus penalties last year that should never have been called (especially on SUH).

  13. They are. Nebraska's home football games against Western Kentucky (Sept. 4), and Idaho (Sept. 11) will be available on a pay-per-view basis. Big 12 Special Order Sports, FOX Sports Net's pay-per-view division will produce the pay-per-view telecasts and the games will be available on participating cable systems in Nebraska as well as nationally on participating satellite and telco systems. For the first time Nebraska's pay-per-view contests will be available in high-definition. Suggested retail price for the pay-per-view telecasts is $39.95 and full ordering details will be available in the coming weeks. http://www.huskers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=100&ATCLID=204965644
  14. That would be the most logical imho. They have NU as a "Pro Style" offense. Whatever.
  15. I'm trying to find on of these... Minus the autograph. I can't seem to find them anywhere.
  16. ?Prince came in as a RB, and Glenn was a RB until his senior year.
  17. Well, NU got shafted in the team ratings department... Our O is not an A- (B+ at best) but our D should certainly be better than a B+ (A is fair). Link: http://www.pastapadre.com/2010/06/16/ncaa-football-11-team-ratings
  18. That was from two guys playing against each other the first time at E3. Unfortunately, playing good defense is going to be hard in this version if the Demo is any indication. There's definitely going to need to be some slider tweaking..
  19. Where did you find that picture at? Here: http://www.pastapadre.com/2010/06/15/e3-2010-day-one-quick-impressions#more-23432 Also, the summary screen.
  20. Now that Teambuilder is live, we can preview the rosters. I went through and named the ones they had. http://www.easports.com/teambuilder#/school/2250890292:1276692527 Click "Rosters" on the right. It's not perfect (the OL could use some work, and Niles Paul should be rated a bit better) but it's better than many of the past ones. Now that we have formation subs, we can make the "Peso" work too.
  21. Yup. And with our WCO "multiple" offense.....well.... It worked out pretty well with a healthy o-line and QB in 2008. We almost won, and our D did little to slow TT down in that game. The "multiple" isn't the problem. Combine the 08 Offense (or even just Ganz) and we are 13-1, or better last year.
  22. Pretty much what everyone here has stated. Plus, our Offense sucking bad made short fields for TT, hence the higher score, but low yardage.
