  1. Saw it and was proud. Go Cincy. Glad they beat "The 'Stache."
  2. Your sign: Continue good sex in the Big East! Your buddy's sign: Thank you, Jimmy!
  3. What does that have to do with anything? So just because you don't think of them as being in Big 12 Country that means they aren't? Big 12 Country, as I intended it to be taken, refers to the states in which Big 12 football is played. I didn't realize it would be open for interpretation but I've heard many people refer to other areas as "Big 10" or "SEC" etc ad infinitum "Country." I'm not really sure what this has to do with anything, either.
  4. I would start Burkhead, just because Helu runs better after the first quarter. Got most of his yards in the 2nd and on at Va Tech What makes Helu run better in the 2nd and on is getting touches. He is one of those guys (like all RBs aren't!!1) that gets better after more touches. He definitely gets into a groove and finds holes better when he's had a few carries.
  5. Has anyone ever mentioned how difficult your posts are to read since you leave out the punctuation?
  6. Makes about as much sense as DFW..er Arlen No it doesn't. DFW/Arlington/Houston and KC are solidly in Big 12 country. You don't want these games outside of Big 12 country because the majority of each potential team's fanbase that would attend should be within Big 12 country. There would be a potential to sell less tickets (regardless of the # of insert-state-here for Nebraska fans) and make less money. Venues would most likely have to release more tickets to the respective schools BUT each school's fans would have to incur more travel costs, making them less likely to go. Nebraska has a large fanbase outside the state, yes, but what happens when Missouri/Colorado/Kansas go to the game? Generally these things need to be set up prior to one-to-two weeks before the game. You don't know who it's going to be. I know what you're saying but it just doesn't make sense whatsoever. From the standpoint of the Big 12, they aren't expecting Nebraska to be the team in the North and Texas/Oklahoma to be the teams in the South every single year, so they shouldn't completely pander to them. It's not fair to the rest of the conference.
  7. I doubt anyone on here will jump off a bridge if this doesn't come to fruition.
  8. I'm confused. Isn't sliding (whether at the beginning or end of the slide) conceding you are down and not allowing yourself to move the ball further forward?
  9. I don't think Mcneill will be back next year. I thought he was a senior He's a Junior. And why are people saying "it's only 1 game against Colorado" so much? Everytime he's been in the game he's done the exact same thing.
  10. I'm not sure about starting against Texas because I think Roy my Boy Toy is a quality running back. He's shown good vision and cutting and speed consistently. The thing that irritates me about his running is his lack of ability to break a tackle when going up the middle and getting hit by a linebacker. Sexy Rexy has that. I am seriously looking forward to next year. I think Sexy will clearly challenge hard for the top spot and could possibly start over Boy Toy given the right circumstances.
  11. I have a HUGE problem with this. Ed Cunningham and Ron Franklin have no business calling Nebraska football games. All they do is bad-mouth Nebraska and the players/plays. Franklin especially. I didn't realize it until it was pointed out on P'Zone but clearly the man only says negative things. Ed Cunningham makes it a point to prognosticate on what plays will/should be run next but he is never right. He says something about how a flag should have been thrown or a play made a certain way, then backpedals and says the exact opposite 15 seconds later.
  12. You're about 2 months ahead of the curve on your prognostication.
  13. Man, it's disappointing that some "Husker fans" posted in that thread. There's no way I would take any of that seriously. The first post I thought was hilarious, what with all the ball and ballsack talk, then he calls it the "groinal region." That's pretty damn funny.
  14. The internet taught you that? I can assure you it's not because of the internet.
  15. Because all media hate the Huskers. Seriously, though, I think they did after, in their assessment, he didn't have a great game against either TTech or Baylor. There is also a caveat on there that they won't give it someone they think *isn't a legitimate contender* which is interesting.
  16. Glad to see Zac getting a little love after we all were calling for his head. I think this was the kind of game he needed to go against K-State with some confidence.
  17. Holy shiv this one is hilarious! WCHusker: yes, it was pre-goal line. He was reaching his arm out to get the ball at that point but the ball had not broken the plane before Zac coughed it up.
  18. Did not realize that Ozzy designed football plays. He also designed the food dehydrator (that's right, Ron Popeil stole it) and the snuggie.
  19. Ah...I didn't realize you resurrected the old threads. I was just trying to find a way to access them quickly. I don't think I could count the number of times I saw "man last year's thread was LOLZERZ!!113332eleventybillion" lately.
