I mean we played some solid games last year offensively, 8-4 lowest we'll go, with losses being from the obvious, OU, Mizzou, TTech, VaTech or Kansas

I don't like their 7-5 prediction, the closer and closer the season gets the more kool-aid I drink, and now I believe the worst we'll do is 8-4.. its college football.. teams have modest turn arounds / /tanking seasons all the time. GBR

Any of the lots close to the stadium are normally pretty good for tail gating, I can't tell you if one lot is better than another, I've tailgated at quite a few of them and all of them have great people from my experience. IMO part at a lot west or south of the stadium and you should be set.

Isn't that all mizzou is good for? wiping the sweat off grossly man-like women?

My prediction is, if we beat VATech and beat or come really close the following week against mizzou, the huskers are going to carry a lot of momentum through the season and end 9-3 10-2 at best which would be remarkable.. If we lost va tech & mizzou I say we break even or get 7 wins.

Before the first game I really wish they would play before the kick off, even before the tunnel walk comes on.. Comments suggestions?

Lets not forget those games Ganz played in weren't exactly cake walk defenses either.. with the exception being KSU :-)

First time I've heard him infront of a mic or camera, he isn't bad at interviews either. Good to hear the receiver corp is coming along and they feel like a solid bunch. My question is, how will next year be after those seniors move on?

Sorry about the double post earlier, I don't know if I necessary agree with bigger guys not benching well, 250 is really a joke for a football player at a D1 school. I benched 245 in highschool as a cross country runner.. Don't know why he couldn't hit the weights a little.. Look at Marcel Jones he is big, strong, and since cutting down on some weight this summer fast. I stopped over after class before heading back to the dorms to watch the huskers, and he is my pick for having a good year and probably a huge year next year.

It will not be the same as the spring game, even the ones from 2006 changed weekly with the players / / clips etc, it will be unique and of its own.. You can tell the writer never actually watched Nebraska's games or follows college football closely. I don't think anyone would content Nebraska doesn't have a capable offense, how many point did we put up last season? Nebraska was 9th in the Nation Last year with 468.3 average yards of total offense. Sorry, the article is garbage, their toughest game is going to come at the beginning of the season at memorial stadium, which is always a tough place to play despite a somewhat battered team from last year. Even if our defense improved marginally from last year and our offense was a little worse, we would still have a better season simply because we lost last year on defense, our offense was more than capable.

Sorry, if she doesn't love the huskers, she doesn't love me. Anyone who is in my presence and can't throw the bones I relegate as being a husker hater and pretty much tell them to get out of my life. Period. It is interesting how I haven't spoken to my inlaws in over 7 years, them having all attended KU.

Probably the biggest improvement for him this season is him dropping 15 lbs since last season. 15 lbs can make a huge difference when finding the hole and breaking defenders ankles in the open field. Should be a great year for all 3 of them, ::crosses fingers::

One of the worst pre season rankings I have ever seen. Period. I read the first 25 laughed and x'd out of the window because it was so terribad.

Wake up, immediately scream down the hall way in the dorms, GO BIG RED! slam my door shut watch the Nebraska History of Football video probably 5 times, grab my port grill and brats from my fridge, tailgate on campus in some obscure location on campus offering any other students who walk by to join. Continue tail gating until an hour and a half before the game, pick up shop head to memorial, throw the bones and get jacked up before kick off.

Maybe start off with a game that isn't a missouri game so she can see that wearing black and gold to the MU game would just make her feel like the awkward kid in elementary school with a bad haircut... my 2 cents.. take her to a blow out game imo, like new mex or something first. Can never attend too many husker games in one season. In terms of the christmas party, I mean you don't need to stay for more than an hour, and I cant imagine it would be in the middle of the game? Show up early or late or show up during half time.. and make sure you have ESPN sending texts to your phone so you get up to the minute updates while you're there getting trashed off someone else's booze before returning to the game.

I estimate seasons end our linebackers will rank 7th with the receiving corp ranking 8th.. basing things off last season just isn't logical defensive wise considering NU is playing hardly any players from last year and the defensive coaching is greatly improved.. rivals is inherently flawed.

Hopefully I can afford a husker polar fleece jacket.. they have them on campus and at the neb book store.. things are hot looking.
